First rack 2 ball was really just a loss of focus. And perhaps he had an eye on the positional side. Can also be caused by players not being 💯 clear in their head of exactly what they’re going to do before they get down - so they dont commit fully to the shot due to that element of doubt

Here was a match just screaming for a good commentator, we didn’t have one. Cameras were off also Shooting the player in the chair while the ball is still rolling from the shooters last shot (for example) One thing I suppose, Gary didn’t worry about shooting the purple five out of sequence since he maybe didn’t shoot pool before Match- room introduced the odd,very out of place Purple five. I still enjoyed watching the match, but could have been better. I hate having to be so critical,just trying to make it better,; we’ve been at this long enough,all this should be better.It has been sorted properly before but these issues seem to be neglected over and over as we move along. Well,thanks anyway from me, but I don’t see you picking up new viewers with this performance, and I’m not talking about the players.

90’s players are the most exciting to watch especially efren reyes. Players nowadays are so boring. Instead of kicking the ball to escape they using stupid jump cues. 90’s is the golden era of billiard.

I dont know if this is true but are they making some pockets 4 and an eighth in wide now? Our pool hall just got new tables last month and they are 4 and a quarter and i hate them. Eveything just rattles now and doesnt go in. But im just starting to get used to four and a quarter and i hear they are making them even smaller. Is this true? I know i needed to get ised to four and a quarter to play in tournaments and such but im also thinking about just the average person that is getting together with friends to play pool on a weekend. Ive talked to a few of thd weekenders that come in and they are not happy. They both said they just come in to play for fun. Theyre not good players at all. Not even close. Can maybe run teo balls at the most. But they just like to play. And come in and socialize with their friends. And they said its not enjoyable having these four and a quater inch pockets. They arent pros. They dont need to play on small pockets. And i do agree with them. With them continuously making the pockets smaller youre going to push away the weekend player that just wants to come in and have fun. Have a few drinks and play pool. They both said its not fun. And since they only play once a week thats not enough practice to really make the changes in just a couplle hours. Playing in tournaments and in money games i kind of have to get used to it but i really dont like it myself. Pool used to be on espn, and televised tournaments every single week. There was big money in pool. Or much bigger in the 80's and 90's. Its no longer on espn or mainstream television. We can watch some on a livestream most of the time. Shane van boening was the top earner last year and made $140,000. Let me say that in a different way. Let this sink in for a minute. Ghe top earner.....the person.....the professional athlete that made the most money in pool last year made $140,000. Does anyone see anything wrong woth that? I know this isnt basketball but steph curry is making 50 million dollars this year. Lol. I dont expect pool players to make that much. Pool just doesnt have the fan base basketball or baseball or other sports have but i was so shocked to hear that thr top earner in pool only made $140,000 last year. Sure, he makes a lot of money betting. Probably doubles what he makes on tour. It bothers me and makes me wonder who is to blame for this? Pool players used to make so much more. And had a lage fan base. Is it a P.R. issue? Someone isnt promoting or something like they should. I would like to see pool grow again.

About that missed 2-ball by Wilson- Yup, he missed something in his usual procedure. We tend to do that on the “easy” shots. My view is that there’s no such thing as an easy shot-they just look easy. Good players don’t miss the easy ones. (Usually) 😎
