If you go way back our music used to have meaning, there are different types of genres in music for a reason. ''Black music'' however does not fall under any genre, soul music is not only for black people because there's artists Amy Winehouse and Adele that prove otherwise. Rapping isn't much different either as there are artists like Eminem that have 100% pure talent, ARTISTS like young thug or maybe Lil yatchy may not show much talent by covering it up with ''100% vulgar launguage'' but people like Biggie and Tupac had both had 100% of each of those things in their music, you just don't understand the art. Everyone falls under different types of genres regardless of their skin colour so I would appreciate if you wouldn't categorise rap or any music you might see black people in as ''black people music'' Thank you

He unites his mom & dad through music, touches the heart and the soul of many whom are listening & understanding his lyrics. He sang with great emotion and pain, he went through tough time like other's did but his positive energy and attitude are the game changer. Truly one of the best singer/artist/writer that ever walked the earth. My hats-off to him.

LYNA LYNA Thank you! Only 5 more days until I leave! Oh my, I just can't imagine hearing such passion heart & soul LIVE from the front row!!! On One Republic... I say. they sure know good music! It will play out to be a good move on their part! The first concert in Aug is on the opposite coast from me in New York. I called to check tickets, front row was $600. and for a "meet and greet" add $2,500! Wow!!! AND dang!...:( Will have to wait until he gets here to the West Coast, but it's great to see him get the respect due!
