I have the habit of listening to music before I sleep. Once, I did it as usual but, by 3 am, I suddenly woke up and this music was playing in my Spotify radio (random songs the app picks so you can listen to). That was the first time ever I listened to this song. I don't believe very much in God or anything but I felt like I was in heaven for a couple of minutes.

Damn. The amount of hidden, sad and meaningful messages in this video are unbelievable. - children witness a car crash symbolising the breakdown of their parents relationship - they play but what they’re role playing is shooting each other - unconsciously picking up negative ways of living - young kids body disappears symbolising either that the kid had to grow up too soon / the older kids childhood disappeared. - girl has dead dove in her hand - symbolising her mourning love as doves symbolise love at weddings - the children actually symbolise Rosalia and James, the ending suggests their car crashes - their parents rubbed off on them and their lives also ended badly. Starting the cycle all over again. I’m sure I missed loads, so beautiful but still so true and sad :( Reminds me of the saying ... “If you really want to change the world, go home and love your family.”

I figured it was their lives flashing before their eyes, the car crash was fatal so their life is playing before their eyes and they are walking along side it, starting off very young and their youth slowly disappears as they get older and eventually reach the point before the crash.

@@mindflower89 I guess you mean desirable Spanish girl (as in Spanish from Spain), not latina. Even if the music style of con altura is definately latino music, she made many spanish references in the song (llevo a camaron en la guantera, etc) and dressed using spanish elements (especially the earrings when she's in the red outfit which are typical flamenca earrings). Not to mention, her movements when she dances, etc and her way of pronouncing are andalusian (even though she's catalana, not andalusian, but still, spanish) ♥.

Primavera Sound 2019: they were both together, they sang this one and it was awesome. Also she dedicated a few beautiful words to James, she said that it was an absolute honor to sing with him, especially since she used to listen to him a few years ago when she was still studying there, at Barcelona. She said she used to sit at the beach with her headphones on, listening to his voice.

A mí no me disgustó, pero la canción estaba ya muy quemada, y meter otra voz sonó extraño... ya que la gente estaba acostumbrada a la original. De los errores se aprende imagino 🙂! Ahora.... De ahí a que se diga que no sabe cantar... eso ya es gente que no tiene buen👂😂. Los fans the The Weeknd criticando tanto me parecieron un poco tóxicos la verdad 🥴

In the past few days ive been getting really into Rosalía and i've been searching for all her different songs, love this masterpiece!!! Their voices go together so nicely, my ears are so happy listening to them. ALSO i always love when songs have different languages, or more accurately when collabs are done with both languages instead of just one. I'm so happy i found out about her :)
