There is something amazingly powerful about not trying to please anyone else. Before the last album of James Blunt I didn't even know his name, I sort of knew his face and I obviously heard the most popular songs here and there but they never caught my attention really. A couple of months ago my boyfriend played this CD and I said: WOW, who is that man?? Then it turned out everyone had already known him! :)

Dear connoisseurs of English language! Unfortunately, I'm not a native speaker so some phrases from the interview aren't clear to me. Could you help me, please? On 2:11 James said: "I worked with..." and then he pronounced a confusing word. After that he added: " reflect the politics of the country..." It seems to me this sounds like "difenomies" or smth like that. I know I'm wrong cause this word doesn't exist. Pease tell me what this word actually means. Thank you in advance!
