Best Bond movie ever

One of the best Bond Films . George Lazenby one of the best Bonds way underrated and Diana Rigg one of the best Bond woman. Great to see the original locations where it was shot very interesting love all the details about these films. This is a film that needs attention because it represents what makes a Bond film great. Very enjoyable for fans !

Best Bond movie ever, in ALL categories...especially the 'plot'! Plenty of snow back then, too. Today?...it's like 'bareback mountain'! ;)

This is THE FILM that inspired me to go to Switzerland over 40 years ago and live in the Alps for the rest of my life. I spent five years in the Jungfrau Region where this movie was made and always found it fascinating how many of the mountain "scenes" were in fact a blend of two or even more different locations as they switched from the valley of Lauterbrunnen to the valley of Grindelwald as well as different parts of each valley.

Nice work! OHMSS is one of the best films of the series.

My wife and I have just returned from a visit to Lauterbrunnen and Piz Gloria. Thank you for making this video so that we knew exactly were each scene was filmed. I like so many others have been waiting to do this trip after having seen the film back in 1969. It was deffinately worth the wait. Stunning and breath-taking scenery wherever we went.

That's great. I'd always assumed the Piz Gloria interiors were a soundstage! I think this was the best of the early Bond films and Lazenby did an excellent job.

Arguably the best bond in the franchise because it is a more human story and George lazenby surprisingly with no acting experience nails bond with feeling never before scene in a bond film.

I have always loved the James Bond movies for as long as I can remember . It didn't matter which one was shown for I love each,everyone of them . The reason why I love them was because of the music, the vehicles, places where it was filmed at . The people who were in the James Bond movies . As I see it you have to be friends with the people who are in the movie,get along with them . Sometimes if you don't like the person in the movie you try to get a long with them the best way possible . The way they all came together was wonderful .

hey Daniel, this is great, my favourite Bond film, thanks for posting that, I met George Lazenby at a fan fest here in London a few years ago, nice guy, just don't ask him why he gave up Bond and whether he regrets it!!.....but I've always wanted to visit those Swiss locations, amazing places, I like the way you have linked your footage with the movie camera angles, that gives a good impression of the" then and now"

Great job this, loved the bit where you matched Bond ascending the steps to make the phone call. Nice to see the locations and how film photography transforms the colours to create that look, which is so nostalgic. Love everything about this particular Bond film and the snow and festive feeling adds something not seen in any other. It is a shame the Lazenby didn't do at least a couple more. You put a lot of effort into editing the clips, I imagine you had a great time finding and filming them. Thanks Daniel.

Excellent! I've been to the Lauterbrunnen area a few times and you've done a great job capturing the locations in the movie. The Hotel Staubbach, my favorite place to stay, is right across the street from now missing "phone booth". In fact, in the film, the bad guys actually drove through the hotel's driveway while shooting at him in the phone booth.

Location ,Location ,Location. Very well done old chap a lot of action,yet i feel shaken but not stirred.Cheerio and keep the good work up.

Yesterday (December 15th 2021) I was eating at Piz Gloria (Schilthorn). The silly golden rings at the stair case are still there.

Well done,was in Piz Gloria last week it was amazing,only saw this video when i came home,it is great to know where the different places are,i hope to go back there next year,love Interlaken,will visit more places next time.Camillus

They were actually building the railway station as it was being filmed in 69. The construction is still going on. Interesting how the snow and darkness blot out the mountains
