In this video I explore the Hotel when On Her Majesty’s Secret Service was shot and parts of the James Bond wedding scene was shot here too.
Estoril is just outside Lisbon. The James Bond hotel has always been on my Bond list.
I explore different parts of the James Bond Location in Estoril. This location is a big part of the George Lazenby James Bond 007 film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
Including the James Bond famous wedding scene.

Just spent 3 nights there. Absolutely fantastic. You're right about the staff, you do leave with a sigh. I hope I'll return too.

Did I see a Graham Greene sighting in the display case? One of my favorite authors and also a British spy during the war I believe!

Yeah he had a quote on the cover of the Dusko Popov book. Popov was a bit of a real life 1940’s James Bond character, who once crossed paths with Fleming. I read a book by Ben Macintyre called Double Cross which Popov featured in. His adventures were brilliant.

The wedding scene was filmed in Setubal.

Yeah, they shot at the building there and close by for Dracos birthday. They had a press day at the hotel, where the crew did some inserts. Hard to tell if any of those were used in the final cut. You can find footage online with George and Diana at the hotel in wedding attire.
