Breathtaking ending, i just cant imagine not seeing daniel craig as bond anymore.

And i absolutely loved his relationship with Madeline, thats a thing i will miss a lot too.

This and Vesper relationship perfectly contrast each other. Vesper and Bond constantly challenged each other, they completely deconstructed one another often and it lead to both of their armors shattering. James was younger and more impulsive, so Vesper was a perfect first love for him. Bond and Vesper were often argumentative, constantly one-upping each other. So this is conveyed more with dialogue, with delivery of lines by actors. Madeleine came at the time when he was more mature and tired. She was someone who he could completely relate to. Both being broken souls due to their childhood, she was someone who could understand his pain better than anyone. He didn't have to hide himself from her, and as both were sick of living a pointless life, they found some happiness through each other. Their relationship was based on pure understanding. So their love is conveyed through just facial expressions and subtle intimacy in the tone of their voices. So basically, his first love was a more direct and straightforward one, based on breaking each other down. His second love was a subdued subtle one, more mature and more intimate.

I watched it last night and it’s all I can think about it. I just keep thinking about everything and the whole film and how amazing it was, it wasn’t a typical bond film, it was a love story. But it was a tragic one

Bond was targeted by Spectre in Italy at Vesper's grave and then attacked by the Cyclops who mentioned Madeleine, 'Daughter of Spectre', finally during the car chase a fake message from Blofeld saying it was all her work to make it seem like she had betrayed Bond when fact she totally loved Bond and never betrayed him. Hence why he was very quick and wrong to let Madeleine go for no reason.
