Congratulations James Cameron for this award and honor. If anyone deserves it, you certainly do. You're an innovator and explorer, but you've done it with great dignity, while maintaining respect for the ocean and environment, as well as making safety a top priority with rigorous testing and certification. Exploring our vast oceans means nothing if you can't make it back to share your experience. Dr. McGinnis, as your mentor, is a legend as well. I sure hope that future explorers take heed to what you said right after the Titan imploded; that both the Titanic and the Titan sub disasters were about leaders ignoring warnings and both could have been prevented and lives saved.

So much respect to James Cameron. He has achieved so much and surely with determination and hard work. To hear his emphatic views on leadership just makes him even better. He is fascinated by the Titanic just like any other Titanic fan but had all the right qualities to pursue things the rest could or would not. I was in awe in 1997 that someone finally managed to do a Titanic movie as it should have been done. Of course he blew the budget - that was needed to do the uncompromising movie. Otherwise someone else could have done it.

I really appreciate this video, so much respect for James and his mentor, i wish that the incident with Titan could have been avoided, unfortunately not the case, but i definitely believe that any future dives will be much more focused on certification, safety, and even more closely monitored, prayers to the families of this very sad incident, maybe going forward in the aftermath of this tragedy James can help in advice with safety issues and problems with submarine materials, to offer his expertise to solo submarine builders of the do's and don't's and companies that manufacture submarines, really enjoyed the video.

When talking about AI: His argument is ( 27:00 ) ... Is that in order to create a chatbot, that it takes up lots of land and a lot of enegery; yes that's true. He also talks within the same conversation about quantumn computing. What happens when AI is based not off server farms, but servers are based from quantumn computing; there will no need for thousands within a data centre; This isn't too far away. Even if a chatbot takes up that much space, what difference does it make, big tech is still going to do it, and they should against digital war.

Admire James for a lot of things. His sense of self is not one of them. He’s a grown boy who was given free reign to do as he pleased, and if you didn’t go along then you were finished. He’s part amazing, part insufferable.
