I see everyone having some issue with patchiness is because they use concealer which for some reason does not go well with pigment formula in this pallete. But I understand some people don’t want to change their routine and with a bit more work can come up with beautiful looks like these. Thankfully I have Mac paint pot already and have enjoyed using that more than a concealer. So I’m pretty excited to get this pallete !!!

I've been using the NYX version of the paint pots and I've experienced patchiness too :/ I used you're kidding in a look today and it went on really well but when I blended it out it became patchy and pink rather than red. I've been watching so many review videos to figure out what I'm doing wrong but I just don't get it 😭

kerri that sucks, I’ve seen many tutorials and it’s worked fine with primers even some have tried the concealer and made it work. Also has to do with the way you apply it. Just keep practicing and playing with it I’m sure you’ll make it work

colors probably wouldn’t have applied patchy if you would’ve used an actual eye base like james said rather than a concealer. some of you influencers don’t actually take the time to read the info about palettes and products in general, which is why i feel this review was half assed and posted early for more views. besides the fact, ill still be buying this palette to support james because he’s definitely the most hard working and actual dedicated influencer out there.

Autree Turner I think eye shadow should work with eye primer and without and he created a great palette :) and it deff did work well but were all entitled to our own opinions and I wouldn’t be doing mine well if I didn’t share those with whoever wants to watch thanks for commenting babe ❤️ have a great night

Moonveil duuhhh. obviously i understand people shouldn’t have to switch their routine. my statement is that it most likely didn’t work for her because she used concealer as a base rather than an eye primer. i personally feel like for people that have palettes that don’t work for them, they should try eye bases rather than concealer just to see if their feelings change bc i think it could make a difference in how things work. thanks though!

Moonveil not all pressed pigment formulas are the same either so it doesn’t mean they’ll all work. but i understand your comment, but i said what i said and that’s MY personal opinion, just as you have your own personal opinion and thoughts.

Autree Turner supporting and loving james charles is something and sharing honest true reviews is something else, actually this is how it should be for all youtubers.. some people want to know how this palette actually performs to decide whether to buy it or not using an eye primer instead of concealer shouldn’t be the only way to not have patchiness.. meaning if a palette is patchy without an eye primer it means it’s patchy period.. i don’t use eye primers at all with all my high end and dtugstore palettes and they’re not patchy most importantly i shouldn’t be searching google and youtube for the way to use an eyeshadow palette 😂 Thank you Brittany for the honest review and for putting up politely with such offensive comments

Yes Love this platte. The colors are gorgeous and beautiful. I am definitely purchasing this platte. It was sold out ladt week when morphe restocked it. It sold out in 12 hours I was tight because When I checked instegram it said sold out. But I am going to purchase it next month when its restocked. Thank you for sharing.

With the inclusion of negative feedback, I can’t help but wonder if your critiques would be different if you followed James’ suggestions.

I loved this look! Girl killed it AGAIN! I will most likely get this palette but has anyone else noticed whenever Morphe does a palette collab, they are charging $39 for the palettes? Like I know this palette has the same layout/concept as the 39A Palette but when they launched the JH Palette, it was $39 and they said it was bc the formula was “different” but they used they same formula as the JH as the 35O2 & same palette size but the 35O2 is only $23. Jessica Marsh idk how you can really complain when you're paying about $1 per shade, most other pallet have a smaller number of shades for a much higher price. I think the price is absolutely fair and makes sense for the brand and shades. $39 isn't cheap but it's definitely not the steepest price for a higher end brand

the Jaclyn Hill palette by Morhpe is also $38 , plus I agree with the people above that you’re basically paying $1 per shadow
