Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Actually they should really be named LASC because they do not play football. It is just fun as it stands. Ask Ibra or Becks. LASC plays a non-tactical, non-technical, essentially physical version of the European sport.

or maybe because the sounders were preparing for CCL and playing their B team ? lol get real.. Seattle had like 20 more shots and held 60% possession. More tackles, corners etc. Seattle actually dominated that game with about only 4 starters in the game, just wait until you play them again lol.. LAFC did not look good outside that goal

Because Tyler miller played insane and we rested most of our starters for the concaf champions league against chivas Guadalajara. LA FC were completely smashed and got lucky. They're game against real salt lake though... I've give them full props for that.

Yes I saw that LAFC is a real US football club. But as an European person, when I think about football/soccer in the US I imagine teams of women. And thanks to US women team we have more and more women football matches on TV (in the UK, in France). Before we only had men football matches on TV!

And the only reason it’s called soccer in America is because America has “Football” and obviously there would be confusion, although I always have been curious as to where the word soccer comes from

Football has nothing to do with feet. It’s called football because it takes place on foot rather than horse. Soccer comes from “Association Football” which is the origin of the game. The kids at Eton/Harrow called in “Assoc". When those kids graduated to Oxford and Cambridge, they added -er and it eventually became “Soccer.” Soccer actually precedes the term “football” by decades. The origins of the word happen to be incredibly British unbeknownst to actual British people.
