The 1949 B&W still photograph of a reunited James and Winton Dean is the one that gets to me. It is clear how eight years of separation have taken their toll on their relationship- and how uncomfortable both father and son appear. The two of them would never again be close: Winton being a cold pragmatist and James, an artist. Ironically, after the fatal crash, Winton was awarded $100,000 of his son's life insurance money. Wild considering that he actually threw his son out of the house they shared and gave him no financial support because he wanted to change his college major from Law to Theatre.

Thank you for the work and time you put into making this video. I feel that James Dean has more tribute videos than any other person living or past. Marilyn Monroe may be the only other person who can hold a candle next to him. I have my own explanation for this phenomenon but I wonder why you all think Dean was/is loved more than anyone else in history? I believe his Dean was more captivating than anyone due to the amount of emotion/range he could pack into every single line/scene he ever had. Starting from a challenging/questioning look to pondering the previous question/statement in question to laughing about his thoughts to going into his response, etc. Packing every word with so much body language and facial expressions with a multitude of pauses and really stretching out his lines, etc. He could feel so much and take us on that roller coaster ride/journey with him. Also the element of danger he possessed. Being capable of danger. Wildly charming. Sexy, effortless swagger, childlike curiosity, etc, etc, etc. Why do y'all think he was/is so beloved by so many??

The opening (the first 28 seconds) is from one version where the entire song has a reverb (echo) added and the rest of my video is just the regular version of the song. They're on KZfaq but there wasn't any specific name for the different version.

No, it's actually a reenactment for an investment agency commercial. It's about what James Dean's life would have been like if he hadn't died. It's here on KZfaq titled - Allan Gray: "Legend" (James Dean) HQ It's really beautifully done. Seeing all that Jimmy could have possibly accomplished is heartwarming, but heartbreaking at the same time.
