Your knowledge is only matched by your humbleness and respect that you seem to have for Bruce Lee.

He is on record of saying that he felt bruce was not teaching him the more deadly moves of Jun Fan Gung Fu. He left the school because he and Bruce did not get along anymore. Bruce heard he was saying this stuff and when Demille came to visit, Bruce approached him and said are these statements true? Bruce had boxing gloves in his hand and starting hitting them on one another when he spoke to Demille. James was scared of what might happen to him if he yelled back at Bruce. True story, guys.

I know. James DeMile had a gun in his pocket and he knew that if Bruce decided to fight him,he might kill him so he was being ready. Demile apologized and walked away.

Great comments Mr. DeMile. How come more of his former students had nothing to say about how Bruce would do in a fight against MMA guys? And how come Glover said some bad things about Bruce saying there was a guy that was faster than him and that he would lose against other fighters?

I never heard Jessie mention anyone in particular that he thought could have beaten him. He did say Tommy Caruthers had better flexibility but I disagree. Caruthers kicks are stiff, few and far in between. Add to that, after around 1965, Bruce had no further contact with Bruce personally, which means he wasn't even around when Bruce came up with JKD. In other words, Bruce's skill increased dramatically after JKD, which Glover wasn't even around to see first hand.

Pls be objective to comment on BL's fighting worth : 1. He never fought in a sanctioned organization. 2. He only appeared in movie actions fighting paid stuntmen who had to follow the script he wrote to make him look flashy to sell his movies. 3. In some additional videos we watched him fighting some dudes n beat them but these fights were not sanctioned whatsoever. 4. if he did join a sanctioned combat sport body, he would not be able to go through the rigorous training for he was drugged n juiced. 5. If he did join UFC or Thai Boxing, d u think he would be capable of fighting the likes of Khabib or Bukauw Banchamek regarding his slimmy fraily bony frame ? So, to avoid fooling people we should only remember him as a very successful movie actor n movie director which no one can refute under the sun n the sky. Ok ?

Ummmm DeMille admits his "boxing training" was "playing around". He was never formally trained in a boxing gym. All this time I assumed he was formally trained in some gym. He was no Sugar Ray Leonard. :) No Mike Tyson. Or Ali. Or we would have heard of him. Recognized his name from the professional boxing world.

That's why I don't agree with him saying boxing isn't a martial art cuz its not art. Ask Leonard, Tyson, Ali, Mayweather, Roy Jones etc that it's an art....

He is undefeated heavyweight champion in air force so.....that speaks for itself
