Used to go out in the golden days 88-92;,wound it down around 2000 ish ,although went to recent sasha and digweed in Bristol... weird why dj s are now on a stage with people standing in lines facing them,like a band... people used to dance with each otherfacing each othrt,preferred that, unless its a turntablist i can t think of anything more dull than staring at self congratulary people twiddling knobs ,and i m a dj haha

1:25:16 is that a Ben Bohmer track my ears are hearing? The drum patterns, the pads, the shakers, everything screams Ben to me. Also vocals by Malou is a giveaway. Also also, the way the vocals are used at 1:28:40 is similar to other Ben Bohmer tracks (like Dive and Gibberish). I rest my case. So hyped for this one!

Wow! J&J went all out with this mix, and it feels more like an Anthology featuring Anjuna's best tracks from the last 3-4 years rather than their usual slice of current top tracks. Getting Yotto's Firewalk and Tinlicker's Sleepwalker featured in the same set has been a dream of mine for forever!! And then to close on Deep in My Soul, Luv Deluxe and Surrender?? All three back to back to back?!?! What on earth, lol, LFG!! Please bring similar heat to the Open Air LA show in July!!! Also, having just returned from Coachella, can i just say that we need WAY more Anjuna exposure at the big U.S. festivals? Eli & Fur were fantastic and everybody at the show fell in love with them immediately. Luttrell's closing set in 2022 was a religious experience, but where are the rest of the Anjunas? This sound is perfect for Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, and even Burning Man, but the label has too little presence at these events to make a splash. I'm doing my part by handing out stickers, wearing Anjuna shirts, flying a flag and playing the music 24/7 in camp, but i need help! What can we do to get more Anjuna exposure? Any ideas from fellow Fam or HQ would be most appreciated!

I haven't listened to it yet, but based on what you said, J&J have played a variation of this set for half a year - their Malta and Amsterdam sets were basically identical, and featured a pleasantly high number of classics, including Sleepwalker, Surrender, Beat Organ and Magnolia. I think cause they had a year off (no ABGT show last year), it allowed them to rediscover a lot of the old gems.
