I'm sure we'll have some line of dialogue alluding to his origin, but I really prefer that they skip spending time with this. Everyone knows Superman - and they can expand on his origins in a future movie where the plot revolves around Krypton and/or Kryptonians.

It's like when people complain about the villains in Die Hard 2 having no backstory compared to Hans and his lot in the first film. I disagree with those naysayers entirely because it's easy to believe Colonel Stuart and his men were involved in some heavy action in some 1980's warzones and didn't get the care packages the American government should have given them, leading to them becoming disgruntled.

So like "Spider-Man: Homecoming", "Superman" (2025) will not be an origin movie and just get right to the action. Good, as it should be. Maybe "The Brave and the Bold" will do the same for Batman too

Would love it if they did it The Incredible Hulk or Spider-Man 2 style where the origin is showed with subtle imagery in the credits. That’s probably the only way I could imagine “retelling” the origin without it being super redundant.

Good. Also, the batman not showing yet another scene of bat parents getting shot was the right call on that film. It's narrative storytelling not religious dogma. Origin stories are for new characters. I never said this before now because frankly I didn't think I had to.😒

Well from now on let’s not focus on the same origin story where Kal-El gets send to earth from Planet Krypton in the James Gunn Version, No Let’s Focus on A Different Origin Story Better.
