Keep up the amazing quality & the insanely based takes! As someone who is a HUGE comic fan at heart (my love for storytelling comes from learning to read through my dad's comics), I FULLY agree. The DCEU didn't land with general audiences under Snyder, and the post-Snyder movies have been inconsistent in quality. They have been trying to half-measure their way out for years but it is clear that a clean slate is needed. It seems Gunn is willing to do it, and, as you've pointed out, he has the care to do it right. The previous DC line up had some stand outs (personally loved Shazam! & TSS), and I would love to see them return, but this is ultimately what's needed.

It definitely time for change, they started a decade ago and haven’t gotten a Real Big Win for fans or the general audience it’s all split up groups that like aspects or nothing

So are the the suicide squad comic books James understands these characters and comics he brought the SS alive. These are VILLAINS the tone and mood was correctly set for them.

There’s a brand new game coming out called the suicide squad KILLS the justice league. The tone is HORRIFIC it’s bloody and violent. Like I said James understood the assignment and delivered. So what you mean “for you…” it’s written on the wall

Lets get one thing crystal clear. Henry Cavil coming back as a Superman in the new reboot, James Gunnverse, will only be confusing for the US audience. The rest of the world is not as dim
