Chris Anderson the man that averaged 29ppg 5 straight years isn’t the best 😂. So much flaws in Max argument. 1) The reason KD was the first option is because he was drafted 2 years before harden and was a number 1 pick compared to harden who’s a 4 pick so of course harden is coming off the bench when Russ is their PG. 2) KD has a higher career Points per game because he was a 1 option his ENTIRE career compared to Harden who was a bench player for his first 3 years. 3) Harden has just as high a efficiency but because he takes TWICE the 3s as KD (both have the same 3pt%) OF COURSE his FG% is gonna he lower. I don’t have a problem if people give the edge to KD in scoring but MAX is skewing the numbers smh.

Maxx is on point on this one. I never thought I would say this-in million years especially considering the fact that he always discredit Kobe Bryant. Maxx is right though, KD is far more superior to Harden in term of scoring. KD is just a team player who wants to win championships. Kobe Is just a winner. It’s a passive aggressive backhanded compliment. Absolutely nothing about that is genuine. He’s saying he scores by any means possible even if the majority of it is through free throws where you just flopping for fouls. KD more complete, KD more efficient, KD plays the right way, KD plays within the offence, KD doesn't play for fouls, KD doesn't rely on the referees, KD isn't selfish, KD doesn't obsess over his personal stats or achievements over the team, KD doesn't play within a 7 second shot chucking D'antoni offence... KD is clearly the greatest scorer of this era and probably ever since MJ.

@@rajaoctober14 Debatable, KD is more efficient yes, but I don't like to hold it completely against MJ as he came up in an era that did not massively emphasise 3pt shooting yet still averaged pretty much 50% FG with like 33% from 3, if he grew up in this era you know his 3p% would be closer to 40%, both were incredibly efficient but it's tough to compare stats between era's on shooting especially considering the changes that have happened

I am a raptors fan last year Kawhi was all over on him with his huge wing span and claw hand but still KD posted over him. I have seen KD off balance and while falling down he had made shot. He can shoot from any where, midrange, pullup, fadeaway, etc. And I am not that into MJ's game. For me if i have to pick a team C shaq PF KD SF Lebron SG kawhi PG Klay Thomson Bench: Duncan, Steph.

Harden career 36% from 3 on 7.5 shots, Kd 38% career on 4.8. KD is FAR more efficient AT HIS VOLUME. If everyone in the league took 24 shots like harden, noone would be near his efficiency.

Much easier to score nowadays. 3 pt shooters everywhere so the lane is often clear. The rules are also bias to offensive players. Little bumps can get called for a foul. Alot of travelling calls not getting called. Gather step was normally allowed by the refs to players drivin to the lane or someone riding on his momentum. Now ball handlers are allowed to do a gather step while walking or standing straight to do a step back jumpshot which creates more separation to the defender. No chand checking or hard fouls allowed. Also, no trash talking to beat your opponent mentally.

Any player would look great taking all those shots under the coach he has. Just because he had a lot of 50 point games how efficient was he? How many free throws did he take? Who was he playing? All those questions and more should be asked. All those 50 point games dont equal anything because he cant do it when it matters most, in the postseason

We marvel at the amazing scoring year that was 2018 for James Harden, forgetting the fact that he not only manipulated several of the NBA rules to help him get those amazing numbers, he also did it in a year that the NBA was lookin for a new protagonist, having grown weary of the Golden State nostalgia. If he was as prolific as the sports world made him out to be, then his dominance would've continued as it clearly didn't.
