I like that James Hetfield isn't afraid to be filmed doing what he loves to do and I am sure there are many that would look down on him for doing this. Especially being who he is. Good on him.

I’m a deer hunter. Started hunting in 2016. Have had several successful hunts and some I don’t know how I didn’t come back with something. I love my 44 mag rifle it does the job.

As with any creature we harvest. It should always be about the meat. Antlers look great on the wall but they aren't the main source like the meat is. Great to see James out there enjoying what us hunters enjoy doing.

I wonder how comfortable it is riding around on the dirt on those buggies with little wheels? at one point in my life I really wanted a quad to go hunting, so when me moved to alberta, I got me a tricyle or trikey,... working with a student budget and went hunting with it.. It was -20 deg celcius, on that crisp beautiful november morning... it was fun though.. a bit cold yeah.. but, when you are adventurous.. no I no longer own it... just thought I should wait until I get hunt some place warmer.. those compact suzuki jeeps, sidekicks, was a warmer alternative, in the meanwhile.. ALi

My Girlfriend said she can't watch this , so I said "I would rather watch this than watching Hundreds of cattle being slaughtered in a Slaughterhouse , when I was a teenager I watched a Farm Cattle Slaughterhouse vid and it really upset me and put me off eating meat for a long time.

Even if I could not find enjoyment in killing animals I don't mind people hunting as long as they follow the law. After all it's sometimes needed for regulation. I think it's one of those (many) subjects where you can't just go with your guts feeling and judge people just because you would not do the same thing. Of course James being my ultimate hero in life he could behead a living deer with his teeth and I would find it cool anyway, lol.

Big animal lover here and it isn't easy to watch these videos. I do however have a lot of respect for these guys. I don't eat meat because of how inhumane and disgusting factory farming is. No issue with ethical hunters who feed their families with these magnificent creatures. Yes, I feel bad for the animal but I also understand this is about the best death they can ask for. The alternative is the disgusting factory farming or dying a slow and painful death out in the wild (although I understand that is nature, it still is brutal I'm sure). I do have a question for the hunters out there though. When you have a mule like this guy that is surround by what looked like maybe a female and some young-ins (Please correct me if I'm wrong) does the death of the papa mule have any real effect on the rest of the clan? Or do they just keep on like nothing happened?

i actually hate hunting, but i can’t blame James for hunting either. people do that for recreation or even as a job. it’s nice that he enjoys hunting. he’s not the only one, but i’m happy that he enjoys doing this :)

O meu avô foi caçador praticamente a vida toda porque na altura era uma paixão mas também um bem de primeira necessidade para alimentar a casa. Na minha maneira de ver as coisas tudo tem haver com um princípio, a caça é uma necessidade e não somente um desporto como muitos dizem. O lobo caça institivamente por necessidade e não por arrogância é a lei da natureza e um prinçipio a seguir para a preservação da natureza.
