I was born in 1990, Metallica were about to become the greatest metal band in the world and now, 31 years later I am watching my childhood idol having grown older and cannot but dread the thought of the day he's gonna stop playing and Metallica shall pass to history along with the other greats. I am a fan of Metallica for more than 20 yrs now. It's hard for me to say it but hearing what they have released so far (only acoustic stuff), I fear that their next album would sound like shit... Hope to get it wrong but seeing how they have slowed down, fear is my 1st feeling.

I know my comment does not matter, but I have to say you made me almost emotional. I am so proud to be an American. Although you had a life of rocking our country, living that life, having fun and I'm sure there was alot of work to it. You had fun and you love our country like we love you. Keep Rock'n James. God Loves you, I just know it and I do too. I told you I could not be a fan in 83, I was to much of a Christian. You told me you loved the Lord too and it was Okay. You are so amazing as a man, a Person and and a proffessional musician. Impressed every time I make sure I'm rock'n you music before I leave the driveway.

Love how he's being so vulnerable. Even if he's massacred millions on stage with his music. He matured finely. He has no need to impress others. He already got what every man dreams of. Money, power, fame, home, Family, kids etc. No more act. He can be himself now. Kids would do that to you i suppose. Anyone dissing him or passing sarcastic comments for him being so real n vulnerable couldn't ever dream of achieving what he's achieved.
