Both are great memorable voices! My Father loved (May God rest my fathers soul!) Michael McDonald too! I love both! James was before they even knew who Christopher Williams was in the New Jack era! James was fire 🔥 I always liked that signature high note he hits at the beginning or middle of his songs! James D-Train probably could do similar too! Many don’t know or remember him probably either!? Lot of talent back in a day!!!

Can't get any better than this, L.A studio musicians all over it, Lee Ritenour on guitar, Abe Laboriel on bass and Phil Perry on backing vocals. Though I don't know who the drummer is, he has a hell of a pocket. Top performance by Ingram and McDonald. Written by the legendary Rod Temperton.

This combo of musicians is fire. Sounds like a studio recording it's soo tight. You can hear the meter come and go a bit, but damn is this group incredible. Sick notes from Ingram/McDonald. The bassist and drummer built such a thick groove for the high end to ride on. mix is INCREDIBLE!
