Our model train saga finally comes to a close, with James May and Mike Fernie putting caution to the wind to get the 50-year-old train running. Be prepared for plenty shouting, swearing and lubrication.

Watching James cleaning or explaining things could quite possibly be the most therapeutic things in existence.

Loved the adventure of James trying to mend a piece of toy history! Have confidence James, there are others that love fiddling with trains, legos, air-fix etc. Thanks for the fun in the shop

It's a shame James doesn't have any children. He would have been an amazing dad.

Oh the joy! Two of my old Hornby trains that I have been afraid to fiddle with for years now running beautifully. Thank you Mike & James.

This time I took a Zen pill. Such laid-back commutator cleaning. Just the right amount of dramatic tension on the brush springs, with the bonus of watching you chaps drifting onto cloud nine with the isopropanol fumes. Nice watch, by the way.

Finally, the last part. I've been waiting for the end to this repair. This 3rd part finally finishes fixing her friend's train. I'd like to see more model train repairs.

Can we please get a video or videos of James talking about his motorcycles please? He is the best. Him discussing the history and fun facts is so comforting. He's the funniest of the OG 3 in my opinion.
