Believe it or not, James May is actually a massive fan of social media, especially Twitter and KZfaq (and DriveTribe of course). But a place that he has never really ventured to before is TikTok, so we showed him some true video gems surrounding himself and his fellow Grand Tour chums. Some of them he found genuinely clever and inspired, but others seemed to leave him a bit cold...

While YT shorts is genuinely terrible, Instagram at least has an algorithm that'll show you more things you found funny the more you like or interact with said genre of memes. I believe TikTok has something similar.

I could link a bunch of nonsensical words that have entries on urban dictionary that is no more a testament to their validity than you doing so here. "Bollocks", as is the correct terminology, dates back to as early as the 13th century, originating from the Germanic word for ball. "Bollox" is a miss-spelling of the word used by, primarily American, individuals on the internet who don't know any better. It is an American bastardisation of British slang.

The difference is thay 15 years ago swag was someone with a confident, arrogant and in your face aggressive attitude, while now is someone who doesn't care about the opinion of others and does their own thing. James, you and the rest of top gear are a pivotal point of my childhood, and when I was going through bullying, certain days I turned on top gear again and it got me through, despite you not really noticing people are inspired by you, and seeing you age along with Clarkson and Hammond, makes us sad, we hope to see you for many years more, and I wish you the best of health!

I second that although I am somewhat older than that. I am just 52 and have yet to find a compelling reason to buy my 1st car, or indeed to get a license to drive a car. Publi transport is fine for me and definately cost me less than having a car. I always watched TopGear as a any other entertainment show on tv, just with a car theme. Like Keeping Up Appearances where the theme is trying to appear different than you really are no matter how difficult it becomes - which is not of my mothers favourite shows.
