James McAvoy Discusses ‘Complicated Relationship’ with ‘Game of Thrones’

“Extra’s” Terri Seymour sat down with Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy as they promoted “Dark Phoenix.”
Michael and James raved about their co-star Sophie Turner, who is the lead of the film and a "Game of Thrones" star. While James revealed he has “a complicated relationship” with “Game of Thrones,” he said, “Sophie has absolutely nailed it. It’s been incredible watching her.”
Fassbender said he hasn’t watched any of the show, but plans to binge-watch it since all the episodes are available. Watch!

What's with you guys complaining about her voice? I'm pretty sure she's not sounding like that on purpose. She sounds like she's sick, and she just pushed through to do the interview. Don't be so hard on her.

I suppose it would be nice to hear what she is saying, kind of retarded having someone that obviously is not up to the task of interviewer as objectively this is a flawed interview, we cant hear her. How can you not work this out yourself is the better question?

We should learn from them and respect her voice....I don't like how people are complaining about it, could happen to anyone. She seems like a person with polite behavior and yet only thing people are observing is her voice! She is suffering from some kind of problems so instead of complaining it to be annoying we should accept it because she never chose her voice to be annoying.

Well really, Stewart as 60 in the first X-Men movie, and McAvoy is 40 now, so there really isn't as much of a difference between him and Stewart in the first X-Men as say, Jude Law and the first Dumbledore (where he is 46 now and the first actor was born in 1930, which would make him 71 when the first movie came out).

Terry Seymour comes across as a starstruck KZfaq vlogger who won a drawing at a press junket. "Guys, how great to be back together for this one?" "What do you love about these characters?" "Sophie... how do you think she did?" Whether true or not, there's only one answer. "Did you enjoy working with her (Sophie), Michael?" Same here. What's he going to say?

Its so awkward watching talented thespians discussing their "craft" on movies like this where they're filming in front of green screens most of the time and the movie is put together in the editing room. but they're paid what they're paid to promote, not to act.
