If you ask me what's my favourite movie of him, I will never be able to answer for sure but if you ask me which of his performance is the strongest and left the most impression in my mind, then it's Filth. The emotion he delivered was so strong that it adhered in my brain and I even dreamt about it. (I dreamt about meeting a guy with similar state of mind to Bruce Robertson and watching him living his life was like watching the movie Filth all over again.)

Yes! I just recently experienced the same. I’ve watched Filth and thought Meh what a messed up movie, but James’s performance stick with me for a long time, finally I’ve watched second time and I loved it, I even dreamt about it. He delivered such a brillant performance

He clearly voted for Scotland to leave the UK then. Paraphrasing, but 'Vote with your heart, not what the financial consequences could be' is very much a political statement (as it was argued Scotland would be poorer outside the UK). He may as well have just been upfront rather than pretend to be coy. Interesting he lives in London the majority of the time.
