Wow, this clip made me see that James tones down his Scottish accent on many interviews, but in this one, where he is on a Scottish show, he totally revs it up! This is the only interview where I hear him say "Aye", and he says it ALOT. It's brilliant! I love it! I adore and admire this man lots!

same case here,...i had seen James McAvoy in "Inside Im Dancing",but that was it.Then years later i saw him in "Chronicles of Narnia" n i had fell in luv with Mr.Tumnus.Later when i saw "Last king..." I was bowled over by him.Since then I have been absolutely in luv with him.

James is such a sweetheart. And what an AMAZING actor he is. My favourites: Atonement, The Last King of Scotland, Starter for 10, Becoming Jane, Shameless, MacBeth (SR). Can't wait for The Last Station and The Conspirator. Keep your eye on the Oscar podium. He's going to be there sooner than you think. :))))

the red thing is a Poppy (for Remembrance day) where the Brits remember all those who died/fought in the Wars. I must admit his accent is gorgeous! Look at 06.20 when he does a great David Brent impression with his face lol!

The poppy is worn in remembrance of those who fought for the allied forces during World War 2 as they grew on the fields where the battles were fought. It's mostly a British thing. I think that Remembrance Day is around early November, if I'm not mistaken. I lived in England for three months and everyone wore them.

Oooh, I love James McAvoy. It's not a Scottish show that he's on tho, it's the Paul O'Grady Show which is based in London, Paul's from Liverpool in England but the show is broadcasted all over the UK.

As point of fact - O'Grady is English (from Birkenhead - think Liverpool/ Merseyside) on ITV and then Channel 4, in England. James does accents extremely well, as covered in the interview. I suppose he feels comfortable to speak plainly on a British show?
