Yes, even to most English folk he is a ridiculous anachronism. His accent is most certainly put-on even though he went to Eton (posh school for all the aristocracy and rich rulers of England) he has it turned up to the nth degree like RP from the late 19th/early 20th century. Even the royals don't sound that 'plummy' nowadays....and he is an arrogant __insert any insult here__ who espouses vile rightwing free market fundamentalist ideas. His big pet project is removing all our worker's rights (we built up over 200 years). All part of his Brexit deregulation dream. A quote that will always stick with me around the 32min mark is "Do you see the schools and health service any better" Yes, because I used to work in schools just after brexit had passed. My job was EU Funded. Most of the IT systems in the schools in Northumberland were IT funded. The planned upgrades in some of them were also EU subsidised. The milk was also EU subsidised. Not back to when I was working there, teachers and management staff were absolutely bricking it, that they'll not be able to afford replacement computers, ipads, that apprenticeships to get people into teaching and into schools to help kids get a better education that I would've loved to have had when I was that age. Now years and years on from that, I don't know what's happened with the schools, because I lost my job because it wasn't going to continue with funding. So yes, schools were better off when we were in the EU.

I love the "fish n chips used to be wrapped in newspaper". It smelled and tasted so lovely because the lead they used in old newspaper ink is one of the more delicious metals. Wondering if the switch to lead-free packaging coincides with Brexit voting age groups. (Over here in the US, the age split in Trump voters tends to coincide with the phasing out of leaded gasoline...food for thought.)

The dumbest thing is to think Australia will regulate their beef perfectly for the UK market 😂. If you aren't regulating what comes into your own country, you are toast. This is Capitalism, bad beef will be snuggled into the UK without regulation from Australian authorities. This is common sense 🤦🤦
