For those that have never tried them, I was issued 5.11 pants by a police department. I would have never bought them on my own but they are actually really nice. I am looking for pairs now.

I agree with this. I don’t like 5.11’s stuff for the most part it’s much too “tacticool” bullshit. Their pants on backpacks are pretty nice tho especially when on sale

I bought a couple pair at Cabella's and the price is harsh, but I can't get over how well they're made and how they fit/feel. Quality for the money.

I have a duty jacket from them at 250.00 cost. Really warm. It's worn well for the last six years. Still a pretty steep price. I also have one of their duty bags. Keeps all the gear I have. Vest, belts, extra ammo and what not. Very durable still after five years. Great gear imho.

I picked up a Rush 24 Woodland and damn is it a nice bag. Travels well, plenty of space and pockets. I absolutely love it.

I bought the 5.11, 3 in 1 Parka. I used it up north during the polar vortex. -20° F and I was comfortable with only a t-shirt underneath. Insulated leggings of course. Very highly recommended.

You missed the best item, their non metallic belt. It’s great cause where I work at I have to go through a metal detector and carry quite a few things on my belt. 10/10 good product

It's always sad when they discontinue good gear. I've used the 5.11 select carry sling pack for nearly a decade now and I wish I bought a second in case the first ever does wear out.

Half my wardrobe and most of my packs are 5.11. Having said that - something I don't regret them discontinuing is the HexGrid packs. Who knew that mounting Molle accessories at a 45 degree angle doesn't work very well?

I have a bunch of 5.11 stuff... collared short sleeve shirts, jackets, shorts, man purse. I agree with James. I would never pay full price and and am no LEO..so. Just sign up for the email list. They run sales all the time.

I thought 511 gear was pretty cool too, but then I ordered a whole bunch of it and it kind of sucks. The shirts turned out to be fully polyester, the t-shirts are way too thin and flimsy for the price. Even the jackets are pretty cheaply made, no liners, thick, barely trimmed exposed seams, on and on. Poor use of money.
