Of course in order to make this video I tweaked the game file, and the haunt frequency will not be as frequent as the video shows (usually, it takes a second or more for you to be able haunt something again). So all in all, being a ghost will encompass lot of tediousness, so unless you have a specific thing you want to accomplish as the dead, just try and stay alive. Oh and also, if you're draining more sanity of your friends than benefiting them, just get yourself revived ASAP

Could you imagine maining the ghost as a support character? I mean these benefits are rather insane, making you a very effective support character, albeit slow and sanity draining.

You can also move items decently fast across the world, including items in water. (Can't cross the water/land boundary though) This is especially useful if you want to reach some items that are relatively near some land, but too far to reach normally. Like convinient driftwood pieces or drops from a mob that died too close to the water boundary, or smth. The items get flung the farthest I've discovered, when you click on the item as close to the near end of it's clickable surface as possible. You also need to align yourself along the tail end of the vector formed by the position of the item and the direction you want the item to travel in.

Hey, James Bucket! I found a fun little fact with ghosts that caused me some pain during modding: you can shave ghosts. Both ghost Webber and ghost Wilson give their own beard resources once shaved. This is because the beard reset occours only after the character is revived.

The werepig one reminds me of a time i haunted a pig and it transformed into a were-one that attacked my friend. After I revived, he died a bit later and tried haunting the pig king to get back at me. Needless to say, he was disappointed to see him get casually waved off.

You can haunt the hounds the varg creates, If they change, they'll abbandon the varg and Hunt a player, If there's anything in the way, it'll get killed too, and with the new update, the can hunt anyone at the surface, potentially ending everyone's lives and any poor creature on the hounds way

Unrelated to the video. But what if hamlet had different vampire bats that are like the red/blue hounds of dont starve RoG. Examples. White vampire bats. Upon death they completely blind the player for a few seconds and green vampire bats which upon death make the player go in a sneezing fit. Dropping multiple items including what they are currently holding.

Well, if you find camp of guardian pigs, you may produce endless meat, just transform some of them to werepigs and bring them back to life once killed by other pigs, then your friends may collect the stuff.

Tip haunt all the flowers so they spawn butterflies and noobs will avoid picking them

I'm not saying its completely worth to be death to take advantage of it, but its pretty useful to know all of these tips, thanks, specially when there are no resources to comeback and you want to kill the time :D , did you know if ghosts players can't prevent mobs to despawn? I use to stay next to the deerclops for example when we lost against him and the winter was about to end so we would have a chance to get his eye on spring, dragonfly and goose despawn flying away and the bearger doesn't despawn anymore, so I think only with the deerclops would work, another use I guess but I don't know if it was patched already
