G'day Friends!
Welcome to this photo re-sizing tutorial!
Everything I use when making photos:
- iMac Desktop or MacBook Pro
- Adobe Photoshop (2017 apparently, haha)
- Matt Photo Sticker Paper: amzn.to/2xr98bo
- Glossy Photo Sticker Paper: amzn.to/33SfAV0
- Transparent Sticker Paper (Select Clear Matt for Inkjet Printer): www.onlinelabels.com/products...
- Canon MX922 Printer: amzn.to/2ULwj8a
- Tim Holtz Mini Snips: amzn.to/3apTzPS
- Tim Holtz Tonic Studios Paper Trimmer: amzn.to/3dxFstH
- Slice Micro Craft Knife: amzn.to/3apn18F
Thanks for watching, hopefully this was helpful if you wanted to know how to re-size your photos on Photoshop. I know there are probably really clever, technical, right ways to do all of this, but this is what I have learnt so far and it seems to be working well for me. If you do have a better way to do this, please don't hesitate to make a KZfaq tutorial and share your process with others who might need a better tutorial than this,
:)
James.

Thanks so much James! I happened upon this video at the exact day I was wondering how you got your tiny collage pics in your Hobonichi…magic!! I’ve been having fun making contact sheets through Preview on my Mac, but I really don’t know Photoshop ( just learning ) enough to get the simple direct way to what I want done. so thank you 🙏🏽❣️👏🏽

I LOVE the stacked photo idea! COOL! =) And the cut out page is cool, too. =) I used to have Photoshop.... but I don't have it now.... Also, my printer isn't working... so it'll be a long time before I can do anything like this.... but it'll be great to be able to do this for myself, instead of have to get my husband to do it for me. Thank you. =)

Thanks for this! I'v been avoiding using Photoshop because I always get confused half way through my projects but you've inspired me to give it a shot again - I have PE and not sure WHAT version, but with all the time on my hands, I'm sure I can focus for one day and teach myself how to do this, now with your help! Want to be prepared for Memory to Memento....

Thank you James - an easier way to get the image on your print copy is drag it then drop - if everything is 300/pixels resolution it will fit perfectly. Hope you and Steve are safe and healthy. Big hugs xxx

Totally! I usually drag and drop when I want all the border that is to be trimmed off, but do the copy and paste when I want the exact crop I sized in the file :) I find more often than not I crop to the new size and copy/paste, but a few times I need the extra borders (like if I’m punching out the image once it’s printed or I’m just using the file to size a certain part of the image, like the face needs to be 2 inches high for example) and the drag and drop has become super handy :) Thanks for mentioning that Laraine 💕💕💕

James, thank you so much, I loved this video! I am scared of photoshop :-) and this helped. Any other photoshop tutorials would be helpful. I like to scan in my drawings and turn them into stickers but the colours alwayd need brightening once scanned and I dont know how to outline the edges of the images and do touch ups etc so anythink like that would be great help! Many thanks for all your videos and the time and effort you put in! ps tried to stay awake for the Artjournalling the magic Zoom last night but it was midnight uk time so I didn't last the distance! :-) big love from Scottish gal in London xx
