I like the $20 creative version, The way they made each strand of hair glow at different angles seems really cool to me! I understand that the attention to beauty wasn’t there, but the attention to creativity is!

i love this but my only thing is i wouldve liked to see what James would’ve done to the photo himself or what he was looking for when he said to be creative because being creative is different for a lot of people so i would’ve liked to see James take on his own challenge

I think with more specific directions, the results could be better. As someone who works in the creative space, words such as fun or creative is very subjective and I’ve found when I use those words myself, what comes back is usually disappointing. Lol.

i agree. putting myself in the photoshopper’s shoes, with instructions that vague, i’d honestly do the bare minimum as well. the more specific u get with ur requests, the better the results will be bc tbh i’m still getting paid the same amount so why would i put in the extra effort if i wasn’t specifically told to, y’know

I like how the end was you guys talking about how the lower prices had some of your favorite pictures. My thinking of behind why they had low prices but good outcomes to is that sometimes having a lower price tag means that more people will want to book you and so that means that in the long run you end up making more money than the people who charge higher prices. It's a good buissness tactic.

I'm shocked at the general lack of creativity! I mean they wre mostly given carte blanche, except that it needed to be "public friendly" I hope some really creative people saw this and it motivates them to put themselves out there more to not be intimidated by the competition

The thing James needs to understand is creativity is subjective. So what he doesn't see as creative someone else will. It's probably not the best place to go if you want what you want if you know what I mean. But what I will agree on is some didn't really step outside the box and they could of been more extravagant and the lower priced ones did a great job. But it also depends on what parameters they were given.
