i feel like people realize that it’s based off of the 60’s space age aesthetic. The makeup from that era was rather simple, ari probably wanted to capture the aesthetic entirely. Remember this is only the first chapter of the Brand. It’s all constructive criticism to help the brand grow and improve.

She's so sweet and always willing to listen to her fans. Ariana is absolutely amazing but she's only human and still has room to improve. So idk why you're so pressed.

Honestly I LOVE it . We don’t need more vibrant crazy shades . This is like my every day make up look . I think she will do some tweaks next launch and that’s when I’ll buy . But I personally am not confused I love it all . I’ll be excited to see when she refines the products

I think personally that the brand was SUCH a win for me. I am obsessed with every aspect of Ari's personality, and I want to work at Nasa when I am older. On top of that, the brand has the products that I go for in my makeup routine. I am so proud of Ari, she is working so hard and delivering so much. Also, TYSM James ur so beautiful and you are so reliable I CAN'TTT!! LYSM ❤️

the way james speaks is so professional. he chooses his words so wisely and i seriously look up to that. he’s honest in his reviews which seem to be based off of his clear years of experience. i’ve been a fan for a few years but i definitely notice a difference in maturity and professionalism recently. props to u my love !

I appreciate your honesty and how you don’t cave into this “oh I have to lie to stay on a PR list” mentality. I love how you were honest about the lashes and how you spoke your mind on them. I like how you weren’t rude about your approach but that you spoke for your audience about the price point. Not everyone can afford these brands that celebrities endorse or even the products that they make and I appreciate that you gave an alternate product at a more reasonable price point.

And on top of that, you give an actual tutorial within your review, like how to apply and you give newbies a step by step of how to reach your end result. I love makeup and I am certainly not the best at makeup, but you have honestly helped millions of people and your platform is expanded amongst multiple categories of people, from young to older. I honestly appreciate your makeup videos despite any controversy because your makeup intelligence is your main platform and you do have a genuine love for makeup and giving the audience an opportunity to grow with their makeup intelligence as well.

I feel like most reviews have been pretty honest. A lot of times creators are scared because if we love something, the beauty fans will say we're lying to get PR, but if we bash something, the celebrities fans will attack us. It's all about finding a balance between honesty & constructive criticism!

I really love how professional and knowledgeable and intelligent James is. Like him talking about the whole brand idea and “identity”, making it make sense with the name of the brand like he is soooo smart! I love the way he talks he is so professional and composed. He should be an agent for influencers coming up. He would be a good interview coach. He’s been through so much and can teach a lot.

unpopular opinion: i dont care what the packaging looks like its better simple, a lot of companies pay extra for fancy packaging when its only gonna sit in a draw, not to mention extra materials being ordered which will cause carbon footprint, also its easier to judge the actual makeup without the packaging influencing it cos a lot of influencers just add pretty packaging and create a barely decent product and sell it for twice the price.

I’ve watched a couple of these reviews from famous youtubers on the r.e.m line & not gnna lie this is the FIRST video that shows such an amazing picture of all the items before we hear the thoughts. I don’t know if its your lights / expensive equipment but it literally made me want to buy everything before even watching the full video 😂🤦🏽♀️ everyone holds the items & it makes them look so cheap from far. I can’t wait to hear what you think by the end of the video (everything looks good on you 🌹😍)

I watched the whole video and being an Arianator, I don't get what the hate is about!!! James is just doing his job, giving his critique about makeup. Can people pls stop bringing his past into this about him saying he doesn't like Ariana!?!? I mean this video is about her makeup line, not about Ariana, so he did the right thing. The toxic ppl of the fandom are just obsessed with him and always trying to drag him down. James you did a good video, you were being honest and respectful about every product, and were mindful about your speech as well. Keep doing your job, loved the REM makeup review!!!❤️

Sister James, you looked amazing! I loved that neutral look. I definitely agree about the lashes, too. I think if I actually tried anything, it would most likely be the eyeshadow, the lipsticks, and the highlighter. To me you really rock all your looks. Love you, Sister!! 😍😘👸💞💖🌈🔥

The r.e.m in r.e.m beauty does not stand for the deep sleep. In an interview she said "I decided to name it r.e.m., because I feel like that song really encompasses a lot of my favorite parts of my sound sonically. And also, REM stands for rapid eye movement: focusing on dreams and focusing on the eyes, and eyes being kind of like our best way to articulate-better than you can with words sometimes."
