I Watched rise of the foot soldier when i was younger and the story always fascinated me, since always followed anything to do with it, this was a good watch and to finally know who did it is a bit weird… the pictures of the deaths really puts it into perspective of what the killer was feeling, savage way to put someone out. Really enjoyed watching this podcast though to gain more knowledge of what happened 👍🏼

It definitely is a fascinating story. I think mainly because the first ROTFS film was so well made (although the others are pants) and because nobody truly knows who done it. I think most people don’t really believe the people who got sent down for it actually did it. It’s a story which has been going on for 20 odd years now. I don’t think they was just killed by some other run of the mill criminal with a shotgun. I believe most of what Nipper says though. It is certainly good insider knowledge to what they was like as individuals. Anyone who seems to have any personal experience with them back then usually says they was complete aholes, that they had upset a lot of people and it was only going to be a matter of time before someone took them out. I’m still not convinced it was Nipers dad that did it though and if he did I don’t think he acted alone. It was a professional job I think someone paid whoever it was to do it. Someone who had good reason for wanting them dead

James, how you managed to ease him and make him feel comfortable within about 30 seconds is amazing. You could tell at first with his one word answers that he was uncomfortable and it seems you did nothing but somehow you did. "A Freudian slip, or parapraxis, refers to what you might also call a slip of the tongue. It's when you mean to say one thing but instead, say something entirely different. It commonly happens when you're talking but can also occur when typing or writing something down - and even in your memory (or lack thereof)." If you know, you know!
