For a start, he's setting up a key change smoothly, and he's gradually altering a loops speed to create a tone out of the audio, and he perfectly matches it with the root note of a different track by ear. He probably has perfect pitch or a really good mental technique using relative pitch to do this

Da Hool "Meet At The Love Parade"!!! I still have a a killer 2 disc compilation with it. It's a remix of thier though, but it made me go out and search forever and finally find the "maxi-single" on cd. I live in Edmonton,AB, Canada. Here getting a ton of great tracks and shit on Vinyl was almost completely impossible.
