10:25 Just wanted to hop in and say that yes, aluminium bottles are recyclable and I appreciate that they don't use so much plastic. But the majority of aluminium is still produced with virgin material, which takes a lot of energy. If they had a system where you could send the bottles back and they put it to recycling that would be more environmentally friendly. Just a reminder to stay sceptical when it comes to product marketing 😊

*James, I’m unsure if you’ll even see this* but last week I left a comment on your “these will go viral” video, telling you how much I appreciate you during this very difficult month I’ve endured. You responded & it meant a lot to me, so I wanted to give you an update. After leaving a toxic/ab*sive relationship I had no where to go, nobody to turn to (no family), & as a single mom of 3 young boys I was feeling very hopeless & lost. In January I had to put my 20yr old family dog down. It will be so, so painful, but I promise you it gets easier to exist with the sorrow as time passes. Do whatever you need to do to feel okay, and grieve in whichever way makes sense to you ❤️

@@beckpenny1062 it’s pretty disgusting that people can be so rude, like best case scenario is they hurt your feelings, how is that an ok option. I have a permanent mark in my arm, it’s over one of my obvious veins. I have to often explain it’s not from being a junkie. It’s actually from when I was pregnant and really sick and needed constant IV fluids, it was often the only vein they could use because I was so dehydrated from being so sick. It happened enough over my pregnancy that it left a scar. As I said best case hurt someone’s feelings, worst case make light of someone’s trauma. Neither of those are acceptable and people need to do better.

It's so nice to hear someone outside of Korea talk about Aestura! Everyone raves about Iilyoon, and I think it pales in comparison to Aestura. My dermatologist here in Korea recommended it years ago, and it's been my holy grail since then. The limited edition you mentioned is because of the size. The typical size is 80ml, and that's all that is currently available in Korea. The large size you showed in the video was a special edition for 2021.

I've only been watching a short while but I'm picking up a few things from your videos that make so much sense. Thank you for this. Long term my skin will be better and more protected. I now look at ingredients before buying anything I put near my face. Before I'd buy and just hope for the best (my skin isn't overly sensitive, my eyes react to some preservatives though which is the bigger issue for skincare products for me). I'm also using a suncream every day now. Before I'd only use in the summer because, living in Scotland, we don't get to see the sun that often, it's easy to forget it's still there behind the clouds! I've moved to a mineral suncream for my face which doesn't irritate my eyes or nose (I didn't really understand the difference before and avoided suncream for my face sometimes because it made me want to claw my eyes out after putting on). I'm now trying to work out the true effectiveness of it and if it does deliver what it promises before I invest in a bigger tube for the summer since it's a bit more expensive than I'd normally spend on a suncream. I've also learned things like wash your hair first in the shower which makes sense, but I'm ashamed to say I've got to this point in my life not realising the sense behind doing that (my skin thanks you for this tip!). Sorry for the long comment, but I want to say thank you for putting the information in a way that is easy to take in and let you know we are learning from your videos. 😊

James, I’m with you on the whole body butters. I’ve never been a fan of them until I tried the Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter. It’s whipped so it’s light and it absorbs into the skin beautiful. You should give this one a try.

I also love that ouai leave-in conditioner, it smells amazing. But one thing you didn’t mention is that it’s a wonderful detangler too, more so than products devised specifically for that! So if anyone has bad knots and tangles like I do, I highly recommend this!

I didn’t mind the Bellflower sunscreen. It wasn’t the best but I thought it was ok. A little heavy and silicone-y for sure. It also didn’t sting my eyes. I wouldn’t repurchase it though, I have other sunscreens I prefer.

Describing the Saltair and Forvr Mood is so point. I just got my Lush Greens body wash but I got a deodorant in Black Tide. Between this brand and Naturium; I can't go back to products that don't combine actual skincare ingredients. I'm a clean beauty minimalist anyway so it's go time.

I’m obsessed with the ouai leave in conditioner. Smells amazing and works really well. Makes your hair super soft also. I use it on mine and my daughters hair, have been using it for 2 years now.

Hi James, I've been enjoying Byoma and GoodLight products recently. I had covid in March 2022 and my skin did not like it! Red, flaking, horror stuff like one of the monsters in Crimson Peak. The Byoma stuff in the 30ml blue bottle really really helped me - dead gentle and made a noticeable difference in 4 days. Always enjoy your videos and your skin looks wonderful!

Bioderma are my new love for moisturiser, I have combination skin verging towards greasy and it is just so perfect. If it wasn't for this channel I'd still be using only Simple products and would have never learned that there's a whole other world of affordable skincare without heavy fragrance/fragrance free. I know so much more about how to tailor products to me.

What you liked about the Aestura ATO cream is what I love about the Pyungkang Yul ATO cream -- but with no smell. I also have rosacea and flush quite easily. I tried a new product and got one of my worst flares (I missed the EOs in it). I immediately rinsed with tepid water, but it was still feeling like sunburn I put the Pyungkang Yul ATO on and it settled it down really quickly. You should try it!

For quick and easy body moisturizer, buy a mist sprayer and put Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist in it and you can spray your body and your face in the shower. It’s amazing! I started doing it to help my eczema during the winter. Now I do it every day. It’s 1/3rd the cost of most body mists

I do the exact same thing with my moisturizer - elbows and knees lol. During the winter I’m so cold once I get out of the shower, and want to get dressed asap.

My favorite lip balm is from Summer Fridays. I like my lip balm to be on the medium texture side bc it last longer thru out the day. I’m not the type that likes to reapply. This lip balm works great for me.

I didn't mind the bellflower sunscreen at all, i even got like 6 of them 😅. Especially the smell, i never thought it was very alcoholy 🤔. Sure it's not the best, but i definitely thought that it was among the top. My only problem is that it starts peeling off easily. As my grandma would say, a 100 people, a 100 different preferences (doesn't sound as good in English)

Honestly me as well - I love this sunscreen as it's one of the very few that keeps my face from getting oily or itchy throughout the day.. it doesnt even have a scent to me lmao. It also has a watermelon on it because it has watermelon extract in it.. Not because it's supposed to have artificial watermelon fragrence,, which confused me a bit when James mentioned that, as if it was a given that it should have it 😅

James have you ever tried Korres? I'm including their velvet oil and poreless moisturizer in my next skincare video and spoiler alert, if you have oily dehydrated acne prone skin like me, it is amazing. That oil literally dries down as it's a dry oil, unlike many that leave a greasy residue and the moisturizer is incredible 😁

The Paula's Choice lip booster has made my older lips much nicer. I only use it at night because it's not really a lip balm to me; it's a lip treatment. My upper lip especially looks much fuller.

I can't use any lip balms with mineral oil for the same reason you mentioned about the lingering taste. Also just read up on the saltair brand. Not sure if my skin will like it or if it's available in Australia but it sounds delightful and the packaging is gorgeous. The dents remind me of cellulite 💕

Oh my god I so agree on how heavily fragranced the Neogen snail cream is, I don't mind a bit of fragrance but this really stings the nose it's that strong. And it's a shame because the texture is so lovely!
