I thought I was seeing double for a moment. You two could definitely be brothers!

I’ve had version 1 and version 2 since their requisite releases. Super fun! V2 is a massive improvement. It pairs perfectly with my Mantis Blackbeard X for resetting the trigger.

Ps., 30 years in tech here. The future isn't mounting a 6" screen to the end of a Glock. Rather, the future is wearing augmented reality goggles with a full scale size/weight blue gun.

Yeah, I really thought Mantis would have some type of VR collab by now. Really strange nobody has done this.

Or even mixed reality that can pick laser cartridges going off. I’m surprised there’s nothing for the quest 3

Question is a tech company and they tentatively to be anti gun. Mantis would probably like to but it takes a lot of resources. They’re actually pretty small.

Hell no the future is not wearing goggles. We talk about situational awareness and you wanna take that away while training. You must be a moron

Great video. Thank you for keeping the channel alive and Yeager's legacy ongoing. Peace and success to all of you in 2024.

Please make the current army qual course, many guys I know would like that in the software, or maybe course designer.

This is really neat. I haven’t used any of the other dry fire systems yet and probably never will. I will be looking into this though.

These guys need to get this on the quest 3 or work with the guys at onward and then take it a step further and make it use the AR capability on the quest 3, then you can procedurally generate enemies in your own home or space. It would be way more immersive with the depth perception of the quest

Hi James, can you visit the Ace VR Shooting booth and do a video with them ? Another excellent dry fire option

Will check these guys out.

1200 dollars up front cost for the entire system and then another 299 for a years subscription. That’s a waste of time for something that is no different than dry fire

If they let you build a custom range to mimic the shoot house that would be cool. "No live ammo when dry firing", because if you do you'll need a new phone.
@michaelnyden80567 ай бұрын
Chimeraxr in my opinion is pushing the limits with augmented reality only issue is it’s not priced for consumers, but somebody could easily do what they did for under $1000 for everything out the door though and literally train in your own home/space if they could work with onward or similar and mod it for the quest 3 AR capability and those recoil enabled buttstocks

I recently made a comment that offended you and it was not my intention. I still follow and miss James Yeager (tactical response) instructional videos. I just didnt agree with this type of gadget. Your right....I was not able to have met the man. Any how I hope you will accept my sincere apology. In no way shape or form I meant any disrespect. Sometimes words on comments when we read them come out differently. We interpret them as a shot at someone. That was not my intent. God bless. Hope u read this and can reply as fast as u did before.

no harm no foul, hopefully both ways. When I answer comments like that, it is more to inform the next reader that we will never stray from James' Way... James made an open mind the first thing on his gear list, and he always brought his. As things improve/evolve, we must be able to do so as well (like he did) in order to continue to deliver the best possible info to our students
