@@keith9864 This is going back quite a few years but Suarez used a racial slur against Patrice Evra, then tried to deny it and had Liverpool players wearing t-shirts in support of him (I don't think that was his idea but it was stupid of Liverpool) which the likes of Carragher came out and said later was a mistake. Then he tried to claim that he didn't use the slur he was accused of saying but said a different word (the same word Cavani got done for last year which isn't a slur in Uruguay, it just sounds bad to English-speaking ears) but then ultimately admitted that he didn't use that different word, that he actually used the racial slur. And then when United played Liverpool again with both Evra and Suarez in the team, Evra tried to shake his hand and Suarez refused and at the end of that game Evra went to celebrate in front of his own fans, going in front of Suarez to do so (absolutely deliberately) and Dalglish, rather than being sensible and saying Suarez should have shook Evra's hand, claimed that Evra could have started a riot. It was all a bit messy, very childish and Liverpool in particular didn't come across well (seriously, I hope whoever came up with the t-shirt idea got fired) in trying to paint Suarez as the victim when he was in fact the perpetrator. Now, do I think Suarez is a racist? No, probably not but he used a racial slur and that coupled with his weird compulsion to bite people meant that as good as he could be on the pitch for Liverpool, it was probably best for all concerned that he move on.

@@RamesesBolton No he didn't. That's what he tried to claim he said initially but ultimately admitted he said a different word (take out the I and the T from negrito, that's what he actually said). He essentially said "Don't touch me, I don't talk to you because you are black."
