I just don‘t get why one should participate in discourses as redundant as these in the first place, that just helps keeping them alive. Like I said, especially in the realm of art, where the private person behind the creation literally should play a subordinated role, letting their skills speak, I just can‘t get my head around the stupidity of people who seemingly still aren‘t beyond the fact that people tend to have different appearences and cultural backgrounds. Superficialities, which can influence your art, but ideally should be transcended by your artistry. At least Jamie Foxx himself didn‘t adress his encounter with Al Pacino like „Well, even if I‘m a black dude from xy, I must admit that this italo-american guy Al Pacino ACTUALLY is a great actor!“ lol. Get over, above it. But maybe it‘s just me, not being an American and thus not being affected by american (social) media discourses.

The fact that I just realized al Pacino looked like a different person in godfather n I didn't realize that it was al Pacino until now means he's a legendary actor up there with denzel Washington. Wow! After all these years Im surprised you just noticed,did you not see Godfather in years which could explain it because when I haven’t seen Movies in over 10 or 15 yrs I start to notice Actors that are big now in those Old Films and it amazes me that I started to notice they were in those Movies but they were nobody at the time but as for your situation the difference is Al Pacino was very young in Godfather and he does look different in that Movie and Carlitos Way
