I enjoy all the ones with you and Jamie. You let yourself relax and seem to enjoy it! Jamie needs her own talk show. And I'm patiently waiting for the Scarpetta series or movie!!!

Great book!! Got it as a pre-order through Audible- like the both of you, I grew up reading…. Thanks to my Mom. She was the one to introduce me to the Scarpetta series. As I was a relatively young adult, I would raid her library of printed books. Though the series has taken some odd turns, I have enjoyed them all- where I won’t do any spoilers, there are some definite shockers to be sure! Though my days of reading printed material is o pretty much over due to glaucoma, I refuse to give up on reading- it is, after all, one of the reasons I graduated as an English Major from SJSU in 1995 and am in the process of finishing the first of what I know will be several editing stints of my own book, before/during (?) the hunt for a publisher…. Or self-publishing….. this I still contemplate too! My reading buddy(my Mom) has since passed away, but the love of reading lives on! Please keep us all posted as to where/when we will be able to watch the series- Scarpetta!! I will be there- a good glass of white wine in hand!!

i'm only up to The Last Precinct so i'm not up to the new one yet. but if i recall reading a few years ago i think she may have forgotten it she had started writing a new one after Chaos than i think she spoke to a fan or it came it came to her on her own i forget which, where she had an idea to take her back to Virginia so she had to stop what she was writing and than rewrite it completely. to take a guess that idea that she had didn't pan out as books often do
