It’s shocking, how someone that has played for the team and understands the club can go from high to low in a week, think the drinks in the studio might be affecting him, no perspective on the situation with the squad, defence not good enough and injuries, we had 2 kids in midfield yesterday, just all sound bites

@@pattyx9050 spurs had their best ever start too. It just went to pot. I'm not complaining as a Newcastle fan. Id love for us to sneak top 4 this season. There's been a few times recently spurs have lost and we drew our game and couldn't capitalise on it. A little more firepower and we could have been well clear of spurs in the top 4.

When you look at the players brought in by Spurs at the time, it’s hard to argue against the “best transfer window” claim. But few expected Conte to adopt such a style with the attacking players at his disposal, and to be so rigidly stubborn with it, or to play Richarlison so seldomly, particularly with Son struggling and should have been rested and rotated. The tactics of Conte dull what could be with who Spurs have in their squad.

You Spurs fans are delusional, Pochettino had a young squad & full of young stars... what does Conte have or what would Pochettino have if he came back? Give Conte that squad & he'll achieve the CL trophy. Even if Kane is scoring, he still is too old to drop deep as a playmaker & act as a ST... he's not fast or mobile enough to do both roles efficiently. Your whole team is build around him, even Son was his side-kick... that's why Kane scores so many goals, he doesn't have players on the same level being able to be the focus of the team. Your whole team/squad is basically built around one man, thus ignore issues, leaks & flaws all over in different roles/positions for decades.

Our fan base has to be the most delusional fan base in the league if thinking poch coming back will sort anything out… this squad is dross end of and only people to blame is levy, Lewis and enic! Considering when poch was in charge the likes of Dier and Davies were bench warmers for the most part to now being starters says it all really!

@@decode3667 completely disagree with this. We signed most of those players for under 15m and they all improved hugely under poch. Danny Rose was bang average before poch. Dele alli fell off a cliff after he left. Under conte, we signed spence, bissouma, kulusevski, bentancur etc. All quality young players. Spence and bissouma were unreal last season for their clubs. None of these guys have improved under conte. He's totally inflexible, never changes formation even when we're losing. We have the 6th worst defence in the Premier league despite having a manager that prioritises defence. Conte has to go

@@RajPatel-me8ph it's the same squad that pretty much all pundits and spurs fans felt could be possible title challengers this season, and made us the club that has the best window. So in the summer it was seen as a quality squad. Now it isn't. How is anything levy's fault? He's backed conte with his mate fabio patriaci who is making the signings with conte, and conte is getting everyone he wants and spent more money than any other spurs manager in 12 months of management. But he isn't managing the team well at all

Love Jamie! Goes from raving about the summer transfer window and how Spurs are going to finish 2nd, to raging about how poor they are 6 months later, when most people could see the improvements weren't nearly as good as what he thought. Spurs have always been a project club, unless Levy leaves, that won't ever change. You'd be better off to go with someone like Poch, spend 100 mil on potential every summer and see where you are in 5 years.

Agree on the comments about Conte but on Jose, Jamie is just repeating outdated arguments, last season Jose had Roma play mostly attacking football and won an european cup (ok conference cup) with a tiny budget. This year they sit in 3rd position with an ever smaller budget, and yess they play defensive sometimes but often also attacking football when it's possible. That's proper coaching!

The caller GJ is absolutely spot on about Kane. He goes missing in so many games. He is not a world class player. He is a good finisher and decent passer. He never takes a game by the scruff of the neck and turns it around when all his team mates are playing like crap. I've seen so many games when Spurs were playing poorly but won because Hoddle, Gazza, Waddle, Modric, Dembele turned on the magic. This never happens with Kane.

@@Akinwalesegun I think you've missed the point of what I'm trying to say and my fellow Spurs fan. He doesn't contribute as much as a supposedly world class player should. If Spurs are playing well and the chances are lined up for him then he might have a good game. He doesn't have that individual ability to control a game and he goes missing so many times. I know he is not a midfielder I'm using examples. Berbatov & Bale are two more who were forwards.

We should wait until after the second leg before deciding to pull the trigger. We could be in the quarters of both competitions and back in the top 4 or we could be out of both and sliding down the table. If it's the latter then pull the trigger and give the new manager a chance to assess the squad and get their ideas across before next season.

Daniel Levy has ruined Harry Kanes career, becaue not once have we ever had a strong first 11 along with a strong bench and that showed in a lot of the finals that we reached. He started this season knowing that we have average defenders who've been here for 6 to 8 years. Dier, Davis, Seesegnon,Sanchez, Tanganga should not be at this club but Levy wants to use these players because he thinks they can get him to the sweet spot where the extra money is the CL spot. What kind of a chairman blows all that money on average players a reported 220 million pounds and gets to keep his job. If Daniel Levy were at Man Utd he'd be sakced years ago. He brings in a world class manager and gives him players worth 10 to 25 million pounds and we wonder why we don't get anywhere? Spnce, Royal, Gil, Lo Celso, Dembele, Regullon, Winks, Rodon, Undogie? This is what happens when you don't buy ready made quality and when you don't challenge young players to earn their way up from the underage squads. DANIEL LEVY HASN'T A CLUE, HE'S OUT OF HIS DEPTH.

The issue avoiding dealing with the same habits and beliefs that the players are stuck in and nothing gets done to change this. Thus creatures of habits they keep playing the same way. So play the same players again, the same will happen without identifying the why and how to change. It seems like managers and are happy to stick to the players ways of playing without improvement. Not a bit if criticism for Kane, who once again failed to show up in a big game, in fact they defend him and say they feel sorry for him, maybe he should be a leader and lead from example? Organise and push the team on like a captains meant to? But all he did was buy his usual fouls he’s good at getting, held up the ball once or twice but no where near enough to get spurs up the field and pressing from the front, but he’s England darling that’s completely immune to criticism.

Always waiting for the Kane bashing! Hasn't he actually scored against every single PL side. Highest North London derby scorer, scored against City last week and so on..... OK I'm prepared to acknowledge that he went missing in the CL final when he wasn't entirely fit. I think the truth his he's scored an unbelievable amount of goals, and that is despite playing under numerous negative managers including Southgate. Give him a chance and he'll score, but no everyone expects him to dig it out, be creative and pass to himself!

The squad isn't contes fault,but he's lack of using it is his fault. Son has played poorly for a while, but replacements for him are sitting there, not getting a sniff of starting. As for levy, yes, he has spent money but not the right money in the right areas at the right times.

They have spent money, Leicester city fans were saying exactly same about Rogers and hierarchy. Spurs have spent money. Managers job is to get team singing. Only three cups in the country . Only one team can win premier league ect. It no longer stands that the most expensive player is the best. There are alot of under rated athletes that are upsetting the balance of money equals best team. Though it is sad that richer clubs undermine the potential success and good management of not so rich clubs by stripping them of their players and managers before they can sustain any success. Fans calling for financial doping need to be careful what they wish for. Cus for majority of teams all that money wont mean any return in silver wear. Their can only be one winner so to speak. You dont need huge signings to compete. You need the right ones.

Jamie is right as usual, but if your front 3 midfielders are out, then any team will struggle,I think the same we not looking forward to watching this team, we going to be hit and many Misses till the end and it wil cost us a trophy again this year

Jamie, we've lowered our standards? Since when have we had a stanard? Poch goes three windows without one signing, Dier, Hugo, Sanchez, Davis and Tanganga still here after all these years? We don't have a standard mate, we just buy one or two good players then the rest are average dross to blend with Kane and Son? Daniel Levy has blown over 230 million at this club since Poch, he now has 220 millions worth of bang average players out on loan. We can't get rid of the deadwood because nobody wants to pay the crazy prices that Levy puts on these players. Levy has never backed a manager with a strong squad and we are once again in the mud. He's spent a fortune on Poch, Nuno, Jose and now Conte. We could sign James Maddison with the money he's paid out to these managers. If Daniel Levy was at any other club he'd be sacked this morning. He hasn't a clue about football, he thinks if you buy young then you can sell them all on. I ask you, name one young player that Daniel Levy has made a profit on? The underage players are leaving in droves and we've just signed more youth as we now have four strikers all roughly the same age competing for that one position? There's no plan, no ethos our younger players aren't coached in the same style as Conte. Levy has cost this club a fortune because of dreadful recruitment and it's all down to him sanctioning deals for bang average 15 to 25 million players. It was known before we signed grade C player Lo Celso that he was rude, a trouble maker and a moaner. The same for Demble who has previous trouble with two of his former managers. Daniel Levy knew about this but still gave the go ahead for these deals. We could have signed James Maddison for 25 30 million 2 years ago and Botman only cost 34 million but we bring in constant garbage. Name one start that we've signed in the last 20 years?

No matter how much he loves Tottenham, being on TalkSport, he has to speak in overreacting manner, and to create debate/criticism/while influencing the audience. How often does any of the hosts talk of any topic with nice compliments & happy callers? If it does occur it won’t be on any of these KZfaq clips. Can’t have everyone happy, it will lose ratings!

I've been a spurs fan for over well over twenty years. There is clearly a problem. If we are mentioning Conte and Levy, then Paratici has to be part of it. I mean, look we bought Spence, a pacy young english rb, Conte: a club signing, not mine. Romero( who I think is very good, proved it in 21/22. Dier I've wanted out for a long time(he's like a worse version of Maguire if that's even possible). just not good enough. Ben Davies playing CB, but not a CB. Peresic( had a great career) is not a defender. We sign a bunch of players from Italy since Para took over. Some good. some not so. Lenglet is rubbish. One good season at sevilla. We have sent Winks(who i dislike), Lo Celso, N'dombele, etc out on loan. Kane's goals have been dragging us though the mud. Conte's plan seems to be don't concede and win it in the second half, and its failed miserably. And you can never play like that. Look we played brilliantly against City. Conte comes back an on-field its just negative play. When Conte won. He didn't have Paratitici signing his players. At Chelsea. He had Hazard, a good defence. At Milan, Hakimi ar RB, very good defenders, midfield. At Juve. Pogba in his pomp. A baller. the mighty Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli, Pirlo and top players everywhere. Richarlison I still have still have high hope but he's better playing up top. I never wanted Jose, mainly because he teams are horrible to watch. Conte

Cundy spouting on about how Spurs have ruined good managers like Mourinho and Conte. They are ex Chelsea managers who walked in to a club with riches at there disposal and a team of quality players already there. That's why the likes of Mourinho and Conte win trophies. They've not had to try and build a team without money or lack of world class players at their disposal. Cundy knows this but he still won't except it - typical Chelsea fan.

Its what happens when your manager wont say there in or out, players give up, they shouldnt but they do. Poch is more likely to want to go to Real Madrid if Brazil do want Ancellotti.

Why is Tottenham one of the big 6 team's in England? Only 2 league titles last one 1961. Last trophy league cup 2008. Not that many trophies to be considered as a big club.

Everyone blames levy but Spurs spent in the summer and added porro. Surely the issue is the players purchased have mainly turned out to be rubbish and then those who are supposed to be good playing bad. How much does Spurs have to spend in the summer for the callers and the pundits to say, Levy have spent enough? That guy said you’ll win nothing with Lloris, didn’t he just win the World Cup lol. The manager spent the money on Richarlason then didn’t play him, he chose not to update the CBs, he chose to keep Dier, not get a better keeper.

Manager supposed to get the best of the player the got. If possible change your system to accommodate the player you get. Therefore I blame Conte for everything. Remember Poch don’t even have half of the experience player Conte have.
