Im 27. Just had deep brain surgery for a brain tumour that almost killed me. Im in remission now but I have a long road ahead and my time is likely limited. Ive been left with permanent deficits. I have the same spirit in me as Jamie. Its people like Jamie that help me not feel alone. Thank you for sharing his story.

My brother had just turned 60 when he received the devastating news that he had an inoperable brain tumour. He dealt with it in a positive way, in that he said he had had a good life and had seen his two daughters grow up. Jamie had his whole life in front of him and that is very, very sad.

Life is so cruel. Rest in peace and to his father who passed before him also.

I know you might think animals are nothing , ...but I lost my dog and cat with 3 months of each other. Both from aggressive cancer , one of stomach , ..the other of lymphoma. It was my first experience staring in the face of cancer... ...watching it snatch my pets away from me so fast. It left me in shock for the whole time they suffered. All the blood, sickness, vomitting , pains .... ...I could not help them. Only comfort and love them. Till their ship arrived to take the across the seas.. ....to the next world. my dad has a brain tumor. poor balance, he can't walk properly. poor eyesight, changes in behavior/personality and difficulty of remembering sometimes. but he is better now than before, after his treatment and successful operation. and we are hoping for a complete healing and fully recovered. just keep praying because in God nothing is impossible❤️

It's such a cruel disease. My brother in law has glioblastoma brain cancer and is on palliative care at home, he's also planning his funeral. My heart is breaking for him and everyone battling cancer.

So, so incredibly sad. Such a waste of a young life, Jamie had everything to live for, but it was all cruelly taken away from him by cancer. The horrible realisation he had to face, knowing that he’d never get married, never have children, that he was going to die. I had my own cancer scare recently, when I was told there was a possibility I had bowel cancer, but thankfully, after various tests, I was given the all clear. Christmas 2021 was the worst Christmas I have ever had because I spent it not knowing what the results were going to be. I finally found out on January 6th 2022. The wait gave me plenty of time to think about my life and the possibility that it might be coming to an end much sooner than I had expected. I went through the numbness of not being able to fully accept the very real possibility that I might have cancer. Then I cried quite a lot. I read as much as I could about bowel cancer and despite discovering that it’s one of the easiest cancers to treat, I still felt that a positive diagnosis would confirm a death sentence. But, I was one of the lucky ones, unlike Jamie, who at 24, was told that his brain tumour was inoperable.

I am so lucky they somehow cured mine. I am great full of it

What a bloke, brave as a lion, as a fellow judo player I can only say you get thrown ,you get back up again, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. RIP Jamie.

I’m so afraid I have a brain tumor and everytime I go they say they don’t have enough proof to do a scan. I have pressure in the back of my head and I woke up with the left side of my body tingling. I have health anxiety so they never take me seriously. I’m so scared.
