I love to buy white bags too. I bought one Dior white and I agree it will turn yellow over time. So I went to recolour it once. I figured it’s easier to recolour a light shade to dark. It looks quite worn now but I have yet to decide if I wanna recolour again🤭

Hey! Don’t know where you’re located at, but I’ve had amazing luck at the Hermes store located in Aspen. I’ve scored a 25cm lizard birkin, 30cm croc birkin, and various-colored cow leather birkins in my 2 years shopping with my SA. If I can give you any advice, just be genuine with your SA and treat them like a human being; SA’s put up with a lot of snotty people and the last thing they’re going to do is do favors for people that treat them like garbage. I’ve invited my SA over for coffee at my home and bought her child a dachshund (she’d mentioned her son’s birthday was coming up and that he wanted a smaller puppy, so I made it happen!). If you leave a sour taste in your SA’s mouth, forget about getting anything exclusive. If you’re into exotics, ask your SA what their favorite bag materials are - if they’re into croc, lizard, etc, then this is a great way to express interest without screaming “I WANT A BIRKIN/KELLY”. Also, if you can, invest in vintage Hermès accessories to wear to appointments at the store, it’s a conversation piece and really shows SA’s that you care about the brand heritage and are invested in their brand’s aesthetic. I wish I could fit more into a comment, but this is such a multifaceted issue that has a thousand nuances. Let me know if you have any questions and best of luck scoring a bag!! :)
