I didn’t think I was that elegant until I recently found out that I was dubbed “the classy friend” of my friend group because of how I dress & carry myself. I’ve even had lady friends say that they wanted to dress & behave like me! I was shocked 😯 yet quite flattered. I still think I’m a work-in-progress but I’m glad that I’ve made some improvements overtime. & I’ve noticed that older men have been drawn to me lately because I practiced what you listed, & a few men around my age view my elegance as being “the cool yet chill.” It’s interesting.

I always said people in general think being elegant is being perfect and looking a certain way, but I know people that are elegant and don't do any of those things, they are just always calm even when things go wrong and they're mad.

Regarding a signature scent and keeping it private, I’m the exact opposite! I love sharing things I love, including my perfume. I also share recipes with anyone who asks and where I purchased an item of clothing. I feel it’s flattering to be asked. I have trouble understanding people not willing to share anything which isn’t their patented property.

Write a thank you card or send a text message later (if it was for something more casual). I would like to know what to do after saying "I would like you not to touch my laptop without my consent"....what I mean is, usually the people that do that or touch/do something expecially after I already said no to whatever it might be, say I sound very serious and won't do it again....but they don't stop either! Like, they don't step away from my laptop or give it back, they kinda get scared because it's clear I'm pissed off and they say "sorry, won't do this again" but keep using my pc and when I get it back forcefully because I said no or even need it, I have to get really angry, discuss and yell because they won't listen and they try to argue, snatch my pc back, yell and make me seem the bad guy since they were already using it after all and even said they won't do it another time! What should I do and how I'm supposed to keep calm? It happens very frequently to me with family, friends, fellow students ecc...I'm usually a very polite person and don't say no as a matter of principle, but I usually also explain that I'm not comfortable with certain things (like letting someone use my pc or phone, sharing food since I have tons of allergies and my food is very pricey, plus I count calories for my diet, letting others use my clothes ecc) but people do what they want and expect me to simply let it go...like no, I have set boundaries and I don't care about what you want, that's not how life works!

The emotions part of this really helped my mental state. I've become more calm and collected.
