i started copying this improv by ear, and by doing so i unintentionally learned to improvise a bit. I never understood improv, but just listening to you guys and playing along was eyeopening. honestly I totally feel him! Rhythm guitar is simple but that's why I love playing it so much. It's easy, so you just get to jam out on your own and literally feel the rhythm while enjoying the other's showing off but he can definitely carry a solo as well, no doubt

This is that perfect amount of difficulty where I can understand the concepts behind the students playing and still learn from watching him. It's not over my head like with Neil Itzler, where I'm just left a confused mess.

Had an instructor that drove me crazy.... Always pushing me. Pushing. I decided I would give it my all. Woke up after my drunk Dad woke me up in High School @ 2AM, ran 2 miles afterwards and practiced my sax. Funny, but I had drive to realize I wasn't stuck in life. Things worked out ok. I did manage to get somewhere--got a bachelors degree with playing and singing, eventually another degree and a masters....advice: you CAN DO ANYTHING you set your mind to do....DRIVE!

You can choose your instructor very carefully! No guitar teacher need any kind of license so ... very interesting that anyone can be a guitar teacher RIGHT NOW! Don't worry! Don't compare! Don't expect too fast! Be kind to yourself! Pure hard work is so good! Great feeling, amazing reward!
