I started growing my beard out when I left the military. An inch for every year. I cut it short a few months ago. Last week I decided to grow it back out after discovering this mans music. Trend setting JamWayne. Something humble and connect worthy about the character that we're shown in your music.

Bro you are bringing back actual rap music. Flow and lyrics that you can actually appreciate. I grew up on OutKast and Goodie Mobb, because I’m a southern boy but I also appreciated Red Man way back in 1992 when I first heard him. Getting home from school and putting rap city on, I knew he was going to be something and look at it 34 years later and still he’s probably one of the better rappers. It’s not about getting the papers, it’s about putting in hard work and getting your message across to the people, keep those 10 toes firmly in the dirt

OK, I've listened to In the Shade around ten times now! These are the JamWayne tracks (to date) that rise to the top for me personally, but listed in no particular order. In the Shade, 32 Bars (but wish it was longer and dreaming of an extended version), Truck Stop Honey (blues music lover here), Smooth (blues music lover here), Outlaw, Ready (with Adam Calhoun), No Problems, Drip, Good Ole Boy (with Hessom), Deep (with Twista and Country Jay), Got Em' Mad (with Chad Armes), Old Soul, and Gadrock (with TheRealPit)! I absolutely love the "Plugged In" Versions of the tracks from Bama Beast, all of them, no exceptions! JamWayne hasn't released a track that I don't like (not yet), but the tracks I listed are my personal favorites (so far)! I also want to draw some attention to Cornbread and Been Did It because these two tracks really bring the country to the city and I like that a lot! Cornbread really expands what is possible in a track that is within the Hip Hop and Rap Genre (JamWayne raps about farming tomatoes and potatoes and cornbread alone evokes those memories of Granny and Mamaw) and Been Did It has a vibe that feels VERY outlaw country, almost like Bocephus (Hank Williams Jr.) was in the recording studio that day, that's what I feel when listening to it anyway! In the Shade might be my favorite track to date, but Outlaw and Truck Stop Honey have both held the #1 spot for me! I'll have to relisten to everything released thus far and then attempt to select my top 5 (no easy task)! JamWayne fan for LIFE here and always wishing him well!
