When I was a kid, my friends Ronnie, Wally and I took magic mushrooms and watched this movie, needless to say, it was one of the funniest and most memorable moments of my youth.

The best line in the whole movie was when he was doing pole vault. He went up and crashed through a skylight in the gym and coach said, "He just broke the indoor record..." and then when he crashed back through the skylight on the way down, "...annnnd the outdoor record!"

That was a great movie. It sure described the movie, world's greatest athlete. John Amos was a great coach.

Thoroughly enjoyed this clip. He was my favorite actor a a kid, mostly because of Airwolf. He could have been on the same level as Harrison Ford but for his vices.
