The Mr.Rochester and Jane of this version are really the best.excellent acting fit the characters in the book like a glove.thanks for letting us see it Pratibha.

Me encontre hace poco con esta version de mi novela favorita...y pense que T Dalton no estaria a la altura. Estaba equivocadisima! El es el unico que supo plasmar la verdadera conexion con Jane. En un primer momento pense qoe habian elegido a alguien demasiado lindo para hacer de un personaje que segun la novela no lo es... pero el lo actúa con tanta naturalidad y con tanta sensibilidad que nunca se lo podremos reprochar. Para mi es la mejor pareja Jane-Rochester hasta ahora.

When Dalton played Rochester he was exactly 38 years. It rarely happens when the age of the actor and the character coinside.

I like how there’s a good emphasis on all her female friends and coworkers helping her get a position at Thornfield and also different people helping her to settle into Thornfield like Mrs. Fairfax. Helps her not seem quite so overpowered by Rochester, and on more even footing.

This is my least favorite actress to play Jane Eyre. There was something too 'modern' about her demeanor. Her puzzled pauses and looks...just did not enjoy her performance. Samantha Morton as Jane Eyre was perfect...fiesty and strong but vulnerable. I did really like Timothy Dalton as Mr. Rochester though.
