So one time I had a dream
and I dreamed that I was in the Atlanta airport.
I spend a lot of time going through Atlanta.
Usually, when traveling is back to normal,
I'm through there a couple times a week.
And I was in my dream, I was in Atlanta.
I was running through C concourse.
How many have ever been in C concourse in Atlanta?
I was running through C concourse
because my incoming flight was late.
I was trying to catch my next flight in my dream,
and when I got to the gate, they said,
"Oh, I'm so sorry you missed your flight.
As a matter of fact,
if you'll look out the window right there,
you'll see that's your plane taking off."
And this was in my dream.
And as I watched, the plane took off,
and then something happened...
and it came down and crashed into a fireball.
And in my dream, I thought, "oh my gosh
I was supposed to be on that plane."
And I sat up in bed shaking all over,
I got up and I wrote the dream down,
but I didn't really spend a lot of time praying about it
because I was actually taking a break.
I wasn't traveling for several months during the summer
and had felt to stay home with the church
and the family for that few months.
And so I wasn't actively traveling right now
when I had this dream.
But about two weeks later
we had a family emergency and I had to go out of town.
And on my way home, our incoming flight was late,
and I got off the plane,
and I had to run to catch my next flight.
And as I'm running through C concourse, it dawns on me.
This is my dream.
And I started running slower.
And I know I'm coming up to my gate,
and this has never happened before or since,
but the gate agent is standing out on the concourse looking
and she sees me running and she sees me slow down.
And she yells and she says, "Are you Mrs. Hamon?
And I said, "I am."
She said, "We held the plane for you.
Come on."
This was not a blessing I'd prayed for.
So I said to her, "Can you give me just a minute?"
And she says, "No, ma'am, you either need to get
on this plane or take the next flight."
How many vote take the next flight?
Yes, I see that hand.
Absolutely.
See, I had to know immediately what God was saying.
And I got on the plane...
but I didn't get on the plane as a passenger,
I got on the plane as an intercessor.
Because the Lord has shown me what the enemy wanted to do.
I got on the plane as an intercessor.
Now normally, I'm sound asleep before takeoff.
How many believe I did not sleep through the takeoff?
I prayed through the takeoff.
Then I settled in, we were halfway down to our airport
in Panama City, Florida when a freak thunderstorm came up
and it struck our plane,
and it knocked the hydraulics out of the plane.
The whole plane shook.
And the captain, the captain came on and he said,
"We're going to have to return to Atlanta.
We're having trouble with hydraulics.
We're going to have to land.
They're going to put us on a long runway.
The flight attendants are now going to take you
through the crash position, the brace position."
This is not what you want to hear
when you've just had a dream that your plane crashed.
But the brace position is folding your arms,
putting them on the back of the chair
and putting your head down.
It's a perfect position to pray.
We prayed.
Long story short, the plane landed.
We landed for a very long time without brakes.
We got to the end of a runway, to the very end
of a runway where there was ambulances and fire trucks
and they were expecting a crash.
They hooked us up, pulled us back to the gate,
and every single person that got on that plane
got off that plane alive
because God put an intercessor
on the plane to get in the way
of what the enemy had planned.
Later, while I was waiting for my next flight,
I asked the Lord, I said,
"Lord, why couldn't I have just prayed from C concourse?"
You know what He said?
He said, "I thought you'd pray harder
if you were on the plane."
Probably true.
I'd probably gone, God bless them,
and I'd have gone to get something to eat.
Guess what?
Sometimes, as intercessors, we got to get right in
and we got to contend right where it's down and dirty, right?
Right where the enemy feels like he is making,
you know, moving forward.
So listen, this is a season of contending.
We've got to be warriors.
If you feel weak, let the weak say, I am strong. [Joel 3:10]
You know what that literally translates?
Let the weak say, I am a warrior.
I want you to say that.
Say, I am a warrior.
We're going to have to understand that God has called us
to be warriors in this season of time
if we're going to actually see hell,
