It’s really nauseating that Janet is never appreciated for her body of work and that people always feel the need to drop names like Michael or Beyoncé even if just to call her Queen. She is not comparable to anyone. And she don’t need charity applauses because she is over a certain age. Like her for who she is and not in contrast to someone else or age. It’s disrespectful. Janet’s inimitable - no one can give you class, sensuality, and aggression all in one heartfelt package. She is consistent in her craft to make music with meaning and that inspires. She her own person. No need to drop other names with hers.
