One of the most interesting things about Janet is.... We (her fans/the world) tend to think of her in a more grand way than she actually thinks of herself. We see her many accomplishments...including being recently inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame...the constantly sold-out tours, the broken records, her cultural impact...yet the way she sees it, as she’s stated in another interview, “I’m just as human as the next person”. It’s that attitude amongst other things, including her insane work ethic, obvious talent, and deep love for her fans - that’s led her to have such a long, illustrious career. These wannabe “artists” coming up now...need to learn humility, take a seat and be willing to put in the work. With everything Janet has been through...the fact that she’s still highly in demand AND is still performing TO THIS DAY speaks volumes!
