I recently adopted a dog with fairly severe tics as a result from distempter in puppyhood. He waited for 1 1/2 years for someone to see his sweet, happy nature. We are making huge progress, switched him to CBD oil from gabapentin, and working on showing the real world, since all he really knew was shelter life. Thank you so much for seeing this dog's inner soul. My Ángel is the same...just a really sweet, happy dog that wanted love and a home. I encourage people to see beyond physical disabilities and give dogs like this a chance. They are such a joy to be around!! Thank you!!

Oh my goodness, she's doing so well! It would be so hard to watch her struggling to get up, but by letting her work through it, she's getting stronger. That brings happy tears to my eyes. There are a lot of good life lessons to be learned from watching her. I'm not being facetious. That was truly motivating.

I’m so glad you found Janey! I have a heart for special needs dogs. With my medical problems and raising a special needs little boy, I know that drive to keep going and keep surviving. Special needs dogs are the same way, they don’t give up and they love life. Seeing her amazing spirit is beyond beautiful. Too many of these amazing dogs end up in a bad situation with people giving up on them because so many don’t want the extra work. These dogs just need love and parents that don’t give up!

Awwwww......What a sweet face. Animals can teach us so much if we will just listen, with our hearts not our ears. Carrying Janey is building your strength too.
