I chose this at random having never heard of Ascension of souls. I nearly clicked off when I saw it was Korean but thought no, give it a shot. I am so glad I did. I am up to episode 8 and having found out there are 30 episodes I am ecstatic. I am in love with everything about this magical , enchanting, endearing, funny and wonderful story. I love all the different characters but especially Jung-uk and Mu- Deok and their beautiful chemistry together. I pray to the Goddess of love (not really I am Christian lol) that these two end up together. I am avoiding spoilers but I think I know what happens …. I don’t know how I feel about it as I adore them together, these two actors. And Jung-Uk is just so beautiful I can’t tear my eyes away- as are they all, their skin is Korean glass perfection . Is it possible to hope for a season 3? I never want to leave their world

Season 1 with So Min was iconic. Mu Deok and Jang UK had a playful, intense chemistry that couldn't be replicated in season 2. It was a bizarre decision to replace the female lead after 20 episodes building her. I mean, what.
